Love our new lights. They’re brightness is great and they seem to be holding up to the weather. Good buy.

These came packaged really well and they’re the perfect length for what we need it for. They give off a really warm pretty light. It’s bright but not blinding. The plastic bulbs are great for outdoors and the spacing of the bulbs was perfect too. They had holes for hooks so hanging them was really easy. The quality seems really good. They haven’t died in the bipolar Texas weather yet so they’re pretty durable too.

I was a little concerned the distance between bulbs would be an issue, but when they were hung and lit, we were very pleased. It’s the perfect amount of light for our space, and the glow is a soft warm white, not blue white, which is exactly what we wanted. We purchased the 50ft strand, which allowed us to make three passes (to form a Z) from the house and chimney to the gazebo. It’s clearly stated in the instructions to make sure the shatterproof bulbs are tightened. You’ll want to do that. Each one on our strand needed a slight twist, and the one we missed stopped working about two weeks in. As soon as we tightened it, that was resolved.

It is worth saying right from the start.. I read in another review they recommended taking the bulb covers off and making sure the bulbs were screwed all the way in. I second that. I had a number of them go out or flicker when I plugged them in. I checked, and yep, needed tightening. Save yourself frustration and give them a turn or two before you put them up.

I got these to replace a solar set I got earlier this year for our pergola. I had gotten one string (needed two) to test it, but found it to be very particular about direct sunlight. Like it need 6 hours of direct sunlight minimum. On cloudy days they turn off in an hour, they’ll be useless in the fall. Most picky solars ever.

Given how useless they’ll be in the fall/spring, I decided to go plug in. Ordered these on a whim and well, ordered them too long (my solar set is 35ft, I miscalculated and thought I needed 2 48ft strings).

They’re the same number of bulbs though, I figured they might be brighter, but I put one up to test with 4 extra bulbs going past my end point to test how bright they were. I figured I could adjust them so the last bulb was where it should be even with extra wire looping around if I needed.

Well, I don’t need to deal with extra wire looping around. 11 bulbs are twice as bright as 15 of the solar bulbs (they were reasonably bright when charged). Our garage sits right next to the pergola, I’m just going to run the extra length back the 4 ft to the garage. I wanted lights back there anyway.

So, so far, so good. They are very bright so I would recommend a dimmer controller. One set is actually too bright for my space. What normal people feel is a lot of light for outdoor lights aren’t in my opinion. I usually am specifically looking for bright lights that I can adjust so we can see our marshmallows despite the bright fire from the fire table, but not as bright as daylight at night. I can read by this light 😁 !

Update- the light manufacturer reached out and offered to make things right even though this was an Amazon issue and not their issue. Updating my rating.
Received 4 used light strands that were dirty and scratched and one strand didn’t even work. Luckily just a burnt out fuse. The lights worked well anyway and a fuse swap got the broken strand going. Typical buyer beware from Amazon now a days. This brand of lights worked well and appear sturdy; not happy with seller sending used and broken lights when I paid for new.

These lights are the “icing on the cake” to your favorite outdoor space! We bought a timer/dimmer box so the lights would always greet us when we got home. They light up the door for us to unlock and they light up the walkway for the aging parents. Normal brightness is bright enough to allow you to read a paper book on the darkest night, and the dimmer creates a romantic dinner lighting space.
We plugged the lights up for a couple of days and left them sitting on the deck rails, just to make sure they were good before we attached them to the 9 foot high deck roof. We had a few light bulbs go out and we were able to take off the clear casing and tighten the bulb, and all was good.
SUGGESTION: before hanging your lights, make sure all bulbs are tight before hanging them. They can become loose during transportation.
One of our light bulbs wouldn’t come back on so I reached out to the seller support team and they suggested to mail me replacement bulbs and for me to make sure all other bulbs were tight. This makes the lights even better when you have a company that is willing to be supportive of you, since you are supporting them by buying their products.
So, I give the company, and the lights a 10 out of 10.

I was unsure of the quality as the price was very reasonable. Package came same day and had them hanging around the garden in less that 10 mins. So easy. I plugged them in indoors to see the brightness. My initial thought was they were going to be too bright but when the sun went down they were a beautiful soft warm glow. Perfect. I just ordered another 100 footer.
Oh another thing, they are dimmable.

I bought these on prime day since I had my eye on some outdoor lights for a while! While there’s only 15 lights on the 50 foot stand, it’s a really good amount of light! It’s warm light so it’s nice and cozy on our deck at night. Would buy again.

Installation was super easy but unboxing wasn’t. It comes with an instruction on how to untangle properly by laying it flat and untwisting the blue wired clasps that hold the cords together. It doesn’t work. I just tried to untangle it carefully by laying it flat on my balcony. Once untangled, installation was very easy. I bought hanging hooks with spring clasps to hold the electrical cord during windy situations.

I had to buy a porch light bulb converter since I don’t have an electrical outlet oustide my balcony so I can plug the LED lights. All I have to do is to flip up the switch from the inside to turn on the lights and it works great.

I just bought a smart dimmer to change my light switch inside because I think these LED light bulbs are just too bright for my intention and the deisred effect. I have yet to receive the dimmer from Amazon in 2 days and then install it.

The bulbs feel durable because they are made of plastic and not the very old fashion ones. They are also waterproof since it rained very hard here a couple of days after my installation and no water got inside the bulbs.

The light bulbs are all LEDs so they are indeed cost efficient should you decide to turn them on at dusk and that’s what I planned to do that’s why I bought a smart dimmer switch to program it to turn on at dusk and turn off at 5:30 am everyday.

I definitely recommend this string of outdoor LED light bulbs. I got mine on sale for $21.00 during Black Friday and I am very happy with it.
