A friend had left a few packets of LMNT at our house after they left for home. I decided to try them out. Although the salty taste took a little bit of getting used to, the flavor is really good. And – for the first time in weeks my evening leg cramps (which used to wake me up from a sound sleep) pretty much went away! Make sure the water is cold when you drink it – it will taste better. Don’t get me wrong: Salt and Magnesium is going to taste salty! But, it is a taste you will quickly get used to. Personally, I think the benefits outweighs any complaints about the salty taste.

I started a program through work to help me with weight loss. It’s a ketogenic diet and they encourage people to drink lots of water. Well, because of all of this water, you wind up flushing out all the salt from your body. The program does encourage adding salt to every meal, but sometimes I just get sick of adding salt to my food. So, I can drink bouillon cubes in hot water or drink LMNT, both of which they recommended.
This is where LMNT comes in to help. It’s in your face salty, but they add flavor to it to offset the saltiness. The weight loss program sent me a free sample pack. It was either drinking this or chicken flavored bouillon, which is fine in winter, but not after a workout or in nice weather.
So, the sample pack had tasty flavors. Oranges and raspberry were the best tasting for me. The packets are super convenient and I just recently used them while traveling. LMNT quenches my thirst and need for more salt. I’ve had other brands of similar products, but LMNT mixes the best with water and doesn’t have any kind of off putting aftertaste.

Best tasting electrolytes I’ve tried.

I’m convinced this stuff actually helps. I play goalie for an outdoor floor hockey league. Needless to say, I sweat tons. I’ve measured my water intake and weight before and after games. I’ve up to about 9lbs of fluids during 1 games. This stuff helps me retain electrolytes and feel better later in the game. Be prepared for the taste, it’s salty only reason for losing 1-star. I don’t like it straight in water, but I mix into Gatorade or Powerade and drink about 2-3 hours before I’m going to play. Happy with the performance for what I paid. I find using about half a pack for. 20oz bottle is the way to go.

Got turned on to LMNT by a diet I am on. Everything else in the market I have looked at has all sorts of other things added to them. LMNT isn’t cheap, but is a good value. I recommend starting with a variety pack for your first batch to see what you like, then select the flavor or two you like for the longer term.
Personally, I have found my recovery from long bike rides in the desert SW USA to be much faster. I take half a packet in the morning and again in the afternoon when I feel slow and drowsy, then I don’t feel slow and drowsy anymore.

These little packets are great for those who are running or hiking – still not tired of the taste, and really helps rehydrate. Took them on a hiking excursion to Yosemite, and they were key for rehydration purposes. Everyone ended up using them.

My work is extremely hot and humid, walking stairs for 8 hours near pasteurizers (water ovens). In the summer in Houston, it’s regularly 100+ heat index in there. I drink a minimum of 1 gallon of water, often two gallons, and occasionally get into my third before an 8 hour shift is up. Over the years I’ve tried pretty much every electrolyte product on the market and am so happy to have found these. The flavors are exactly what they sound like. Kinda fruity flavor with a ton of salt. I’ll add them to 48oz of water, sometimes with another supplement like collagen for my knees. They kick pretty hard with less than 16oz of water but taste quite nice over a bigger volume. I drink one of these a day in my first half gallon and rarely get dehydrated. Often times on the weekends, or if I get more than one day off in a row, I’ll wake up with deep tissue muscle cramps, usually from the inside of my knee to my groin, with no easy stretch available to help. It’s the worst, so bad it often sends my body into shock giving me an instant fever and dizziness when I need to be upright stretching lol. Since I found these, I’ll try my best to hobble to the kitchen, drop one into a 16oz water bottle and chug it fast. It’s crazy how fast it helps, like within ten minutes the cramp is nearly gone, manageable. Truly a life saver. They’re expensive, and sometimes take a week or two to arrive, but I’ll continue to buy them as long as I sweat like I do at work. Won’t recommend anything else to others.

These packs are perfect. They actually work. Aftertaste is a little salty but I mix it in 16fl oz. 32fl oz if you don’t want it to be so strong. This is one of the few that don’t make me feel nauseous after drinking it. The pack also dissolves completely.

I love this stuff! It’s salty, make no mistake, but that’s one of the things I Love about it! As someone who exercises daily by running, cycling, and strength training, I sweat a lot and it’s important to me that by body’s resources are replenished in short order. I travel extensively for work, and LMNT travels well – small and portable, fits in my computer bag and is perfect for the off-the-shelf 20-ounce bottles of water. After about a week of using it daily I could tell a noticeable difference in my recovery.
