Description
FURINNO 17045 computer desk, Espresso from the Turn-N-Tube Series is a multipurpose desk with ample display and storage space. The desk can be used as computer or reading desk. It is designed to be assembled and disassembled easily without any tools. Just follow the instructions by turning and twisting the tubes into the boards. It is made of engineered particle board and PVC tubes tested for durability. The manufacturing process complies with the Green rules of production. Assembly is easy with given instructions. I was scared to get this product. I didn’t want to have to screw a lot of things together and i didn’t know if it would be big or long enough like the picture measurements. But…. I LOVED IT! It’s super easy to put together. Super sturdy! Beautiful color. It’s as tall and long as the reviews and pictures say i was so surprised. It has great storage access. I can’t wait to decorate it

After reading the reviews and looking through amazon I decided to purchase this desk, it matches with my room and seemed like a good fit. But, there is not much desk room. Half of the desk is used up for the little stand, so there is not room to fully open my laptop. I guess this WOOD be a good fit for a kids room or maybe if you had a computer, except I do not think it would be able to hold a really heavy monitor. The sturdiness is okay, just what you’d expect from a cheap desk on amazon. It stays in its place but if you push it it’ll do a little dance. Also, i feel like if you were really going at it and erasing something on your paper it would feel like an earthquake. I did tighten every pole to the max it can be tighten, so i don’t think my installation was a problem but who knows. Overall, it feels like a good quality desk if you are in middle school or just for decoration (it is still really pretty), not that sturdy and not much desk room. Will probably return because as a college student, i’ll need a much more sturdy desk (especially if this pandemic lasts any longer).

I wanted something with a low carbon footprint for my home office desk, and I think this was as good as I was going to find for the little 4’x4′ space I had. I paired it with Furinno 99132EX/BK Turn-N-Tube 5-Tier Corner Square Rack Display Shelf, Espresso/Black as a sort of a hutch between the right side of the desk and my wall and Furinno (99557EX/BK) Turn-N-Tube 4-Tier Multipurpose Shelf Display Rack – Espresso/Black (minus one shelf) as a sort of a return along the right side of the desk, all connected with NavePoint 6 Inch Nylon UV Resistant Cable Wire Zip Tie 50 lbs – Black 100 Pack Lot Pcs Qty to make it pretty sturdy. Since this line all has the same length tubes, the desk/shelf heights match up perfectly. And if you want to maximize the utility of the shelves (as long as you don’t mind pulling them out of the side of the desk instead of the front), these Household Essentials 34-1 Decorative Storage Cube Set with Removable Lids | Black | 2-Pack fit perfectly.
My only complaint (and it’s right there in the description/specifications, so this is on me) is that the < 18" wide space for your knees is really small. No "manspreading" possible with this desk. That small space is also too small for any clamp-on keyboard trays, so I just used two of SKYZONAL Ergonomic Mouse Platform Under Desk Ergonomic Wrister Mouse Pad (Black) instead for my little Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 with Built-In Multi-Touch Touchpad keyboard. The whole thing is just about as efficient a setup as I possibly could imagine.

It is a pretty good desk for what you are paying. It was easy to assemble. However, it does feel a little wobbly but it doesn’t bother.

We bought this desk to plan ahead for online learning in the fall. While I was surprised to see that the supports are all made of plastic, the completed desk is sturdy and spacious. It offers plenty of room and is easy to move. Assembly was a breeze, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Super easy to put together and I cant put anything together. Pretty sturdy. I guess for a bigger person there wouldn’t be a lot of leg room. This is fine for my 13 year old son.

Writing this review about 6 months after recieving. I could tell from day one of setting it up this would not be a sturdy desk. I broke 3 of the leg pieces just by barely bumping the desk with my knee (barely any leg room; overall desk much smaller than I anticipated). Customer support was good; they sent me the replacement parts at no charge. Replacement parts arrived and while I was reassembling I broke the new parts. Now wish I had just returned the desk when it arrived from day one. Not worth your money & don’t do what I did: do not even give this desk a chance.

You can tell the product is cheap by the plastic poles used to put it together and the thickness of the wood but it is fine for the price. I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on it and it does sway if there’s too much pressure on it because the poles don’t all fit perfectly. The plastic trim on the wood was peeling and rippling in some places but I could glue it down and it wouldn’t bother me too much. I like how much space the shelves provide for storing things and the raised platform on the top is perfect for accessories. Super easy to assemble and no tools required but I don’t expect it to last forever.
Edit: Survived the move to a new apartment! P.S. use a coaster because it will get bubbly wherever water seeps in

Ordered this desk to replace my old TV stand, and now I have a simple workspace combined with my entertainment center.
The materials are cheap (its plywood and plastic rods) but if you aren’t gonna manhandle this, it’ll stand just FINE. It doesn’t wobble side to side, but it does a little back and forth. (Not a big concern for me since I have no interest in moving this any time soon.)
As for legroom, I have plenty since I’m only 5’3. My chair doesn’t scoot fully underneath, but that not something I care about.
The desk itself was easy to build, you just twist the rods together in-between the wood. Twist til you can’t turn them easily anymore with your hands. Done.

I’m definitely in love with this new space. This desk has made transitioning to a WFH life easier. I am a teacher and an entrepreneur so I needed something with enough space for my personal and work devices. It holds all of that and more, even a monitor so I can see my scholars on a big screen! The space for binders and notebooks is also amazing. It takes up very little space and fits nicely in the corner of my office with plenty of room for bookshelves, another desk for hubby, and floor room to lay down when taking power naps lol.
I read reviews before buying and the wobbling really isn’t that bad. May be worse for someone with less things to store on the desk but the little wobbling that occurs probably does so because of the open frame of the desk. I also saw mention of the small opening for leg room. I’m fairly small (5’0”; 155lbs) so I can still scoot up to the opening and even rest my feet on the bar at the bottom. But that wasn’t a major deal for me.
All in all, this is a nice product for the price and purpose that I needed it. Since getting the desk, I’ve spent 12+ hours a day in my home office. It’s definitely increased my productivity.
