Are there cheaper Chinese hex keys on the market? Yes. Are those good? Sure, but Wera goes an extra step by organizing the keys in a cool holder; color-coded as well. It isn’t always about the nuts and the bolts, but the feel of the tool in your hand, and how it makes you feel using it. Only tool guys get that.

Tbh, I bought this specifically for the 1.5mm, I needed damn near none of the others, I only ever strip 1.5s. I could tell an instant difference, the first use. Turned a slightly stripped 1.5mm probably 1/4 turn further than I’ve ever been able to before, and it didn’t even catch the thread, just came right out buttery smooth.
    Do recommend. Good keys.

Perfect size, great steel, the color coding and finish make them a joy to use. Only down side is the price.

I like the Wera brand. I have several Wera tools that have held up well to the work I do. Nothing too intense, but worth spending a little more for the right tools. I bought this set because I was tired of trying to read the fine print on allen wrench sets. The color delineation is very helpful. It’s easy to say I need a 3 mm and just find the correct color. My only complaint is that the wrenches seem to be a little big? I haven’t had it happen a lot, so there is a chance it was the screws I was working with, but I had to switch to another set of wrenches because these wouldn’t quite fit. That being said, I like that they grip screws better than most sets because they are a little big. But you may need to carry another set if these don’t fit. Still, they are very nice and great quality.

I got the larger set but couldn’t take them with me in carry on because they were longer than 7″. This solves the problem and keeps the quality. It also is easier to get to hard to reach spaces.

Wow, solid construction. I haven’t used them yet, but am very impressed in the quality of the metal, the labeling, and the folding case. I’m always looking for a great tool set for traveling on bike trips and these are amazing. It’s hard to pack long tools and carry enough tools. These replace what always looked to me as being a ‘long’ set of hex keys. I also found a red hair in the box. I’ve always had a soft spot for red heads. Back to the tools: They are clearly labeled, and though short, are not slippery and likely to fall out of my fingers. That’s often harder for smaller tools to pull off. And Wera’s ‘Hex-Plus’ feature is genius.

I will look to Wera for more tools in the future, for sure.

This brand is a bit pricy but they are well worth it.
