He absolutely loves the case it comes in. It’s easy to change from a screwdriver to a ratchet set. The hand grip feels very comfortable in your hand. It’s not flimsy, it’s a very well constructed set. A GREAT VALUE for your money! He uses these tools every day so you know they will hold up!

Wera is hard to beat. The quality is next level. This tool set can do a lot of things. It’s not the largest set, in fact you may be surprised how small it is, but the quality is second to none.
The zyklops ratcheting handle has a few more features than some will appreciate. It’s great for getting into tight spaces and weird angles. The fact that you can choose the angle of the handle to fit the job is nice, but if you are looking for a general purpose tool you probably don’t need those additional features and could save some money with a standard Wera straight handle socket set.
The bits and sockets are of course superior quality. Wera tools should outlast all but the most demanding users.
This kit is very portable. I used the Velcro mount to affix it above my work bench and it’s the first hand tool i reach for.

This is an excellent set of quality tools. The small size allows me to easily store it under my seat. The toolset cover all the metric tools I need to work on my 2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6 when away from home.

This review is for the Wera Zyklop 1/4 inch flex head ratchet. This comes as a kit with sockets and bits. I have several other 1/4 inch flex head ratchets which lack most of the features of the Wera and are too small (see photo 3). I have large hands (athritic) and have a difficult time manipulating small tools. The sockets appear to be 6 point flank drive sockets. All parts of this kit are well finished. In general I prefer metal tool cases. This has a cloth type tool roll with rigid inserts to hold the square shape. It securely keeps all the tools in place and is very well made. The tool roll has a Velcro strip on the back for securing the tool roll for storage. This does have a button to release a socket, which many new ratchets do not have.
I do mostly handy man type work and I like how this keeps most of the small bits for fasteners in one tool roll. While this kit has 15 different bits it is missing a few that I commonly use like square and blade bits. This tool kit is expensive but it is by far the best 1/4 inch flex head ratchet I have seen. My previous ratchets were too small and did not have a way to lock the angle.
The reenforced tool roll came in a nice cardboard box with slide on lid (see photo 5). The tool roll is labled with a rubber replica of the ratchet. Most tools only come in a cheap plastic bag or hard shell plastic cover.
I thought this tool was made in Germany but to my surprise I see it is made in the Czech Rep.

The fit and finish are excellent and evident right out of the box. You can tell the high level of thought and engineering that went into the design. The swivelling head, with the plastic sleeve, lets you go from ratchet to speed handle with the push of a button on longer fasteners. The wobble extension is a nice touch. The bit holder securely holds the bit. You move the collar towards the bit, so putting a bit in is a quick, natural motion. Attachments to the ratchet are a traditional push button. I was not able to force an attachment either on or off the ratchet without pressing the button. So, no searching engine comparts for fallen sockets/bits. The soft side carrying case is top notch I really like the socket holders and the socket sizes are stitched into fabric. So, yes I love these tools. Now nitpicks. Switching the ratchet from tighten to loosen has a bit of travel. The etching on the sockets and bits could be bolder or have more contrast. Overall, I think these are superior quality tools with below superior prices. Also check out the vendor Uberlegen. They seem passionate about quality tools. Their website will make tool lovers drool…
