The cookware’s innovative thermo-spot heat-indicator technology ensures properly pre-heated pans—a must when it comes to sealing in juices and flavor, whether sautéing or searing. When the pattern in the center turns to a solid red spot, the pan is hot and ready to cook. The cookware’s heavy-gauge aluminum construction provides fast, even heating, while stainless-steel warp-resistant bases make the cookware compatible with any cooktop, including induction. PFOA-, Lead-, and Cadmium-free, it requires little to no fat or oil, which allows for healthier cooking, effortless food release, and quick cleanup. The cookware’s riveted silicone handles stay cool to the touch for a secure, comfortable grip, and its vented tempered-glass lids with cool-touch handles trap in heat and moisture and make it easy to monitor the cooking process. The T-fal Professional fry pans works well for cooking a wide range of menu items—from breakfast fare to delicious dinner entrees. Dishwasher-safe and oven safe up to 400 degrees F, T-fal Professional nonstick cookware offers exceptional versatility and ultra-convenient everyday use.

This is a picture of the pan I got about 2 year ago. And if the new one I just got lasts that long I will be buying another then. I would just kind of like to know why after so long a time not sticking at all, then it only sticks right in the center over the red logo. One way or the other , this is the pan to go to. Bacon and eggs (no stick) every day of the week.

I just bought a second one of these after five years of using it daily – sometimes three times a day. The first one held up extremely well. I love the non-stick coating on the outside – the pan doesn’t get so nasty looking if one is, like me, disinclined to scrub that exterior every time one uses it. The only negative is that it was ever so slightly domed at the center so my eggs, oil, whatever would run to the edges – but I still loved that pan. My newest one doesn’t have this problem.
I find this to be an outstanding non-stick pan for frying perfect "over easy" eggs, omelets, french toast, potstickers and reheating leftovers. That’s pretty much how I use it. I am also a non-stick skillet commando. I will not let anyone use my pan without giving them a little talk on NO METAL UTENSILS IN MY NON-STICK PAN. I also rarely use soap in it, but rather wipe it out with a paper towel after a quick rinse and swipe with a plastic dish brush. But then, the unthinkable happened…I forgot to give a guest my "no metal utensils in the non-stick pan" lecture. And a knife was used in my pan. AUGHHHH! It was agony politely watching my beautiful pan enter the slippery slope to no longer nonstick-dom. But it was still working pretty well until badly burned some leftovers in it one day. Very badly burned those leftovers. Black, soot, smoke. The pan came clean, but eggs were now sticking – the unthinkable. So, I bought another one. If I hide it whenever I have company and never leave it unattended on high heat, perhaps it will last ten years!
I chose this pan the first time because it was recommended by Cook’s Illustrated. I chose it the second time because the first one was the best non-stick I’ve owned in over 30 years of using non-stick pans for daily eggs.

Needed to upgrade to induction compatible cookware. T Fal offered good value for a durable nonstick skillet with enough heft for even heating without hot spots.

This has come to be my go to pan. The size is right for many cooking needs. I prefer it most of the time over my smaller and larger T-fal pans. I hesitated but am so glad I bought it. Like all T-fal pans they are worth the money you pay for them. Works terrific on induction burner.

Very pleased overall w/ this pan. I’d all but ceased cooking w/ non-stick pans due to how quickly they typically go from mediocre to awful (and possibly unsafe, too). I was skeptical about purchasing this pan, even after Cook’s International rated it as a Best Buy. At less than $25, it’s better than a ‘Best Buy’, in my opinion. (Kohl’s also sells it for $10.+ more when they have it in stock, so why bother. . .) I’ve successfully fried chicken, sauteed vegetables, and made sauces in it, but the original reason I purchased it was just for cooking eggs, esp omeletts. And, it excels at that, even when I don’t use any butter or oil at all. Totally even browning from one side of the omelette to the other (and I use 3 eggs in my omelttes, so it’s not a matter of a wimpy one-egg omelette tucked away into a corner of the pan). When the omelette is done, it’ll slide right out onto a plate w/out any fuss.
Despite what some have stated in their reviews, I haven’t experienced any negatives at all concerning what’s been described as the ‘domed center’ in this pan. Maybe it’s because I cook on a gas range @ a low-medium heat, and that alleged ‘problem’ may be unique w/ those using this pan on electric ranges, and probably at too high of a temp. . .
The red ‘ready to cook indicator’ in the center of the pan is a bit of a gimmick, but it’s cheap entertainment, I guess, while one waits for the pan to heat up. Heat conductivity is good, and seems even all over the pan, too. Manufacturer recommends avoidng using metal utensils – they’ll probably compromise the no-stick interior. And, since cleanup is so easy, avoid the dishwasher also. Just wait for pan to cool down (to the touch), then gently hand wash w/ a tiny bit of dishwashing liquid, rinse in hot water, wipe dry, and put away.

I had recently got fed up with my All-Clad nonstick pan. I paid a couple hundred dollars for a brushed stainless non stick pan, and after just a couple of years of use, it was not only no longer non stick, but it was like velcro for food! Now, I cook daily on these pans, and never at excessive heat, nor do I use abrasives that may remove the teflon coating, yet after normal use, I ended up with a completely worthless and expensive piece of steel.
Having been gifted a T-Fal stainless non stick pan and reading some reviews on Amazon, I decided to give this a shot. If a $30 pan gives it up after a year, who cares right? Well, this pan exceeded my expectations. On a gas stove, the aluminium heats up quickly (though it is prone to hot and cool spots) and cools off just as fast for easy cleanup. Compared to steel and cast iron, this is a time saver.
As for the pan itself, the rubber handle always stays cool except sometimes nearest to the pan. Just be careful grabbing there if you’ve had it on the burner for a while. Cleanup with a sponge and soapy water is all it takes. I wouldn’t recommend the dish washer as in my experience, it won’t always get all of the food off and then the heated dry kind of bakes it on. A quick hand wash takes care of that though.
I haven’t had any issues with the nonstick coating flaking or getting scratched off. I take care to use silicone utensils to cook with on these pans.
So with the pan being easy to cook with, easy to clean, durable, and best yet, really cheap, I couldn’t be happier. For my non stick purchases going forward, I’ll be "sticking" with these pans!

Back in the early 90’s I had my first experience with T-Fal. At that time, for whatever marketing reason, I thought of T-Fal as some lesser brand of cookware. I like expensive brand name cookware as much as the next person, but, when I asked a friend what they wanted for a bday present, they said a set of T-Fal. Ok, well, I’d have bought you AllClad if you’d have asked, but if that’s what you want.
After paying a little bit of nothing, then seeing the stuff in person, I thought, wow, I am gonna get another set for myself. This is nice stuff. So I did. And, with it being inexpensive and all, I used it really hard, like I didn’t care if I had to replace it. I also overheated my 10″ skillet about as often as a pan can possibly be overheated.
Now, I’ll admit, after almost 20 years, the non-stick coating in several of the pans is not very non-stick any more. But, none of it is missing! No holes in the surface and all that stuff in my food.
In spite of the insane temps I’ve used the pans at, none of them have warped even a little bit. They are as flat as a pancake. I feel bad getting rid of my old trusty 10″ skillet, but, its replacement is here. I bought the 8″ thinking it would be a nice omelet pan but in truth, it’s a bit too small for that. Nice pan, but, too small.
My 8″ skillet didn’t seem to work real well as an egg pan when I first got it. Eggs seemed to stick pretty good, and clearly I expected better. After frying something in it using coconut oil, it immediately became the non-stick pan I thought it would be. This new 10″ pan I broke in by boiling a shallow pool of water, then pouring that out and “seasoning” the pan with a good rub of coconut oil while over the heat. My first French omelet from this pan slid around like it was on an air cushion. Wonderful.
This pan feels like a nicer quality pan than my 19 year old one. Though that one still looks nice, the balance of this one is nicer and the handle feels more sturdy. Not that it needed to be since that one isn’t loose now. This one is also oven safe while the old one was not. The aluminum on the bottom of this is uncoated, where the old one I had was enameled. I use gas, and that one has needed the black crud cleaned off many times in the past. It cleans right up with ez-off, and I expect this one to also.
Overall, I’d say these are the nicest non-stick pan you can get at any price. Cooks Illustrated seems to feel the same way. When you hold this pan in your hand, it’ll feel like a pan of 5x the price. And, if it lasts like my last one, it’s worth 5x the price. If you’re a person who loves quality cookware, consider putting a few pieces of T-Fal in your collection. It’ll fit right in with others you spent a mortgage payment on.
PS. Their electric teakettle is amazing too.

I recently purchased the T-Fal frying pan on 6/10/24 with high hopes of effortlessly cooking up some delicious fried eggs. However, my experience with this supposedly top-notch pan was nothing short of disappointing.
Upon my first attempt at using the pan, I followed the instructions meticulously, setting the flame to a gentle medium-low heat and cracking two farm-fresh eggs into the pan. To my dismay, instead of sizzling gently and evenly cooking, the eggs just lay there, stagnant and lifeless.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, things quickly went from bad to worse as I heard the unmistakable sound of popping coming from the pan. The whites of the eggs began to burn and sputter, while the yolks stubbornly refused to budge from their spot. In a desperate attempt to salvage my breakfast, I tried to slide my silicone spatula underneath the eggs, only to leave behind a sticky residue of burnt egg whites that proved to be an absolute nightmare to clean off in the sink.
Now, I understand that some cooking mishaps are inevitable, but what truly irks me is that I shelled out a hefty $47.10 for this pan under the assumption that it would deliver a superior cooking experience without the need for excessive oil. Yet, here I am, left with scorched eggs and a pan that failed to live up to its promises.
Perhaps if I had coated the pan with oil beforehand, my experience would have been different. But let’s be real here, the whole reason I invested in a supposedly premium pan was to avoid exactly that – the need for oil.
In conclusion, my encounter with the T-Fal frying pan was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. Save your money and opt for a more reliable and user-friendly alternative.

I purchased this frying pan on October 18th, 2023, hoping it was as good as the reviews. I am very careful with my cookware. I use cast iron almost exclusively, except I like to have a *good* non-stick pan for the occasional eggs that I cook.
Today I noticed a large scratch in the bottom. I’m the only user and I’ve never used metal on it. I came back to Amazon to look up the warranty. Imagine my surprise….LIMITED LIFETIME! I’m thinking “ok, they stand behind it!” And then I read the rest: “This warranty does not cover staining, discoloration or scratching of the non-stick interior or the aluminum, porcelain enamel or stainless steel exterior.”
What exactly does it cover then? I’m deeply disappointed. I won’t be buying another T-fal. Ever.

I originally purchased the T-Fal Professional 12.5″ sauté pan because America’s Test Kitchen (ATK) rated it as the best buy non-stick 12″ sauté pan. Even over some of those pans that need a bank lone to purchase. It never lost it’s non-stick feature, even after frying 77 consecutive eggs, it’s heavy duty and has a comfortable handle.
I have never had good luck with (so called) non-stick pans and found myself in need of a replacement for my most recent failure. So, I decided to trust ATK and buy this one from Amazon at $29.99. After all, almost all the reviews on Amazon about it were excellent.
WOW!!! Was I glad I decided to try this pan? It is everything, so far, proclaimed to be. Scrambled eggs don’t stick, pancakes don’t stick, and even sauteed cabbage doesn’t stick.
The only problem I had was that a 12.5″ is just too big for some jobs. So I checked and found the 10.25″ pan and the 8″ pan on Amazon. I ordered them and found them just as good as the 12.5″ pan. They all even have a heat senescing feature, a red dot in the center of the pan that changes appearance when it gets to the proper cooking heat.
I JUST LOVE THESE PANS.
The only thing lacking is no lids for the smaller pans.
ONE WORD OF CAUTION: I noticed a previous reviewer derided the T-Fal pans as being lightweight, even warping after a couple of uses, and some foods sticking. Another reviewer stated that you MUST purchase the “Professional” model. At the store I checked some of the other T-Fal non-stick models and they were right. Other models of T-Fal were lightweight and more in line with what you would expect for such a low price.
If you’re looking for a good, inexpensive non-stick pan, TRY THESE! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
