The Better: The desk LOOKS nice with all the distressed lines, etc., but its particle board and evidently does not hold well together. Definitely have someone who knows what they’re doing put this together… there’s TONS of pieces!

The Worse: I signed up for the assembly service at $65; the assembly team sent ONE GUY 37 days after my purchase who was here 5 hours trying to put it together. He tried his best to be very organized putting this together, however he needed two more hands; it IS NOT a one man job with the insane amount of parts needing assembling, knobs, top, sides, drawers, etc. With that, there were parts that didn’t fit correctly, and two, it ended up coming apart within minutes of his completion due to the material being PARTICLE BOARD. The one side had not attached correctly and when he went to tighten it, it evidently just stripped its way through the board and could no longer attach leaving two huge damaged 1/2 circle the screws no longer fit in. The entire side panel was loose and pulled away from the top and drawer section making it very difficult to open and close the drawers. I could not get it to stay in place.

I went back and forth with the Assembly team AND Amazon Chat for 2 weeks trying to get resolution even after reaching out only 5 minutes after he walked out the door texting them and calling them. Mind you, the return time expired on the damaged/non-working drawers desk, the assembly team took 37 days to come out and assemble…. a HUUUUGE MESS.

My wife stumbled upon this for her office needs. It was reasonably priced and the quality and feel of this desk are awesome. She is really happy. It does require 2 people to get it assembled, especially during the latter half of the assembling process. The desk is quite heavy for one person to work with. Although for the first several steps of assembly, I worked on assembling it myself. The instructions are laid our very easy to read and understand.
I don’t think we could have found anything better on Amazon for the price. Truly feels like a much expensive product.

This desk is massive and gorgeous in my new home office. I admit I did hire someone on thumbtack to assemble because I didn’t have the time to do it, but she did it in about 4 hours and it is gorgeous. It looks very expensive in person, pictures do it no justice.

This desk was scheduled to arrive Feb 12. It showed up when it was raining on Feb 6. We were close by but not home, no water damage to the boxes- they were wrapped in plastic.

Cons: it took my husband & I 6 hours to assemble this. We took our time because we only wanted to do it once and get it right.
Info: You have to follow directions and you have to be familiar with possible screw adjustments ( when it comes to making the drawers fit properly and evenly).
We did use a drill even though it says not too, being very cautious not to get the screws too tight. The drawer rails are tricky if you’ve never installed them before.

Pro: I love the desk! – well worth the assembly and money.
The small keyboard drawer came with a huge flaw on the top corner that’s very visible when opening the drawer, I will be contacting the seller for a replacement piece. And I will update here. It is nothing anyone did but looks like a flaw from production.

The drawer rails work great for us, we had one that was a bit stiff so we made some adjustments with the level of the drawer and screws. Works great now!

For the door on the front we are also missing one of the screws for the hinge. Another thing I will contact the seller about. 2 hinges, 1 came with 4 screws 1 came with 3.

Nice, heavy and sturdy. I’m about 145 and stood on it to get to our fan in the study.

I would have absolutely paid $100 to have it assembled, if they offered.

I’ll add pictures once I have my study cleaned up.

Many parts but well-marked, however not easy to assemble. My husband is an engineer who pays attention to details, and it took him many hours and several calls to the manufacturer before it was put together. The video gives the impression that it is easy. Not so

Nice finish. Problem putting together, not all parts were numbered, and not all predrilled holes lined up all the time. Drawers were the biggest problem. False fronts on 3 of the 4 drawers had to have the holes elongated in order to get them to line up.

The color is beautiful. The parts are great quality. The instructions are VERY clear and the parts are easy to identify. But this took a really long time to assemble. For me, by myself it was 8 hours. There are about 6,783,567 parts. But the instructions are clear and have cute little comments in the booklet along the way about how long assembly is taking. This is EXTREMELY HEAVY. I and another person struggled to put it right side up after the bulk of the assembly was complete. You can always pay someone from task rabbit to assemble it if you’re not brave enough to take it on. But if you like puzzles, just throw on some true crime TV, get a really caffeinated beverage and dig in. Remember to have someone strong help you flip it over on its feet. It’s really a beautiful desk.

This desk is prettier in person. I love it and have received so many compliments. The file drawers are nice and large. It has lots of drawer space which I like.

Made with cheap particle boards. Materials came damaged. Over 200lb of garbage. Extremely hard to assemble because they send you wrong materials mismatching the assembly instructions. One set of screws was completely missing. When reached Amazon, they offered me to keep it with 20% refund which they never did. Never buy furniture from Amazon.
