This is a very good and sturdy desk. It came with no damage but the package is very heavy. The delivery man helped me get it into the house. It took me about 8 hours to put it together but instructions were very good it is large enough for my work . One thing should be noted. If you put a computer inside the cabinet be careful of excess heat. The cabinet has no ventilation or free movement of air inside the computer door.

Desk assembly, when okay until we tried to put the drawers in. They where between 1/4 and 1/2 inch
off when closing. Had to measure up, re drill my own holes and remount the tracks….Poor quality control

Desk looks great once assembled. However, because the parts arrived in one box and weighed over 80 lbs,, the shipper called to ask if there would be someone to help unload it! The next day I noticed that it had been passed off to the USPS to deliver it. The following day the original shipper (FedEx Ground) delivered it with help from from my husband helping the driver slide it out of the truck, and it took both of them to carry it into the garage. The package had a huge hole torn in the center and the edges were tattered all around the outside edge. The driver said, "Looks pretty bad, hope it’s not damaged." Sure enough, when we opened it later in the evening several huge scratches and the surface was ripped off one of the doors. We called the manufacturer directly and a week later received 3 replacement pieces. Later when we went to put it together, one of the metal tracks to hold the drawer was missing. Currently waiting on that part now, too. The damaged pieces could have been avoided if this huge, heavy desk was packaged in TWO separate boxes and labeled "Box 1 of 2, etc. There was no reason to ship this size and weight in one cardboard box. The desk must be assembled in the room where it will be located because it is so heavy and will obviously not fit through the door otherwise. Also, realize it is not solid wood, but manufactured with particle board and has a cherry-colored veneer. Thus the reason for the lower price. Once assembled, it looks great, and the manufacturing company has excellent part replacement parts at no charge. The problem appears to be with the various companies who sell and who "drop ship" (literally) their items!

Excellent desk quality. Very heavy and very high quality wood and assembly materials. This thing came in a perfectly rectangular package that was packed very well. Every piece was immaculate inside with zero damage. Very heavy & difficult to move the entire package by myself (me, a guy, 6′ 6″) but we did want quality and that is what we got. It took several hours, probably 4 or 5 hours to assemble. But we saved a few hundred bucks at least, probably more.
The only thing that could be possibly improved upon is the depth of the drawers which are not nearly as long as the depth (front to back) of the desk. The depth is alot more than we thought it would be even though we did examine the dimensions before we bought it. The drawers could be alot longer because they are rather short and as such fill up easily. Anyway, take your time assembling it & be careful of your lower back when lifting & moving. The instructions are perfect & should be followed verbatim (verbatim means: do what it says! lol)
Put it where you want it because you won’t be moving it much unless you like weigh lifting. Good desk to hide under during an earthquake. The manufacturer is one that I would like to buy more items from.

This is a solid and sturdy desk that looks really nice.
It scratches very easily so heed the instructions that say to put it together on a carpet or cardboard. I have hardwood floors, and it resulted in some scratches.
It took two people to put it together, but it went very smoothly, except the door and drawer, which were extremely difficult to get to fit right. I ended up having to take a Dremel tool to part of one of the drawers to make it fit.
Other than that, it was pretty easy, instructions were incredibly clear and had some humor in them. It’s obviously an American product, and you can tell by the instructions.
It’s a good purchase, just be careful about fitting the door and drawer. The door in particular had a hinge that was impossible to deal with.

Very disappointed in this desk. It lacks quality, bottom line. If it wasn’t so huge and heavy, I would have returned it.
Cons:
– Pieces didn’t line up well during construction, but at that point I wasn’t about to try and get it back into the 1 box to send it back.
– You can scratch it with your fingernail! The paint/finish is so thin. I have scratches all over it already, heck it scratched when two pieces touched during construction.
– Keyboard tray doesn’t have a back so you can’t use it as a drawer when you don’t have a keyboard (think laptop use here)
– Keyboard front falls down constantly. It doesn’t latch well at all.
Pros:
– Size, huge workspace
– decent storage space

I don’t know if the company is to blame for not packaging it well, or the shipping company for not handling with care, but the entire right outside panel was scratched up. To the company’s credit, they did have a number you could call for a replacement piece if anything was scratched, but after spending the several hours putting a desk together only to notice that the side is scratched, it is hard to convince yourself that it is worth waiting for a replacement piece or that you would be willing to start all over with the building process again. Scratch aside, this is a very beautiful, sturdy desk once you get it put together.

The desk is beautiful when assembled but had to take two stars off: one for the incredibly difficult assembly process (took 7 hrs for two experienced assemblers to get this in shape, some of the difficulty is with instructions and some with the nature of the pieces that need alignment and proper fit). Second star for the surface that was scratched very easily during the assembly process. Overall, the product looks nice and good quality when assembled but if you calculate minimum wages of $15/hr X X2 X7 = that is $210 dollars in extra cost.
