This is a very nice desk, and I love the style of the legs. My husband was working with all three monitors on a very small desk with a hutch attached, so it was a joy to build this desk and move him into a space better suited for his work.

The other reviews got it right… This desk takes a while to put together! I built a lot of furniture, and this took me a few hours every day for four days. You cannot move it alone after it is assembled. Definitely a two-person job.

This desk has two design flaws. The first is that the flip-down drawer for the keyboard pull out is not flush. Notice on the pictures that we removed it, and I used scrap from the sticker to cover the holes. The metal screws are directly under your wrist if you are using a mouse, or make your keyboard wobble if your keyboard is on top of them.

The other flaw is only temporarily annoying. You’ll notice the hole for the cords to go down into the desk. The flaw is that at the bottom of the desk there is only a singular hole, so you must magically drop every plug directly above it, squeeze your fingers into it, and pull the plug out. It should’ve been open down below or had numerous holes to go through.

Overall, it’s a beautiful desk and I’m glad we bought it, but I would love to see those flaws addressed.

      Laissez-Faire

This is a nice desk. It will serve its purpose. But it was AWFUL to put together. Took about 7-8 hours TOTAL. That is ridiculous. The amount of parts that were tiny individual pieces was numerous.

The worst part about this was some parts of the instructions were not clear. For example, the sliders for the two file drawers, and the slider for the keyboard drawer, they are attached (the two pieces in each one — one for the drawer and one for the inside side to attach. I do not know how to explain this. But it says to separate them to be able to screw them in. So I didn’t realize that meant to TAKE THEM APART. That is similar semantics but still could be interpreted differently. I wish it had been more clear. I ended up having to chat with the company online. They were helpful, but it still took too much time, and was not very clear.

Overall, good value for the money, absolutely horrible to put together.

If I paid the $150 or thereabout, to hire someone to assemble it, I would have felt bad for them making only $20/hr due to how long it would have taken. Maybe they were faster than I could ever be. But still I’d feel bad.

I also screwed everything by hand. Should have used my husband’s drill. But it is so heavy! I did tell him I need a battery powered drill / screw gun. Pink would be the preferred color haha!

The regular price for this desk is over $700 plus shipping. I got this for only $319 and shipping free. Reviews for this desk was good overall. However there were lot of reviews that it is very hard to assemble. Well it took me about 6 hours to assemble but I have to say that the instruction was excellent. It couldn’t be better than that. Desk is beautiful and sturdy. I had Sauder desk before and I was very satisfied. I expect same with this desk

This product took way too long to assemble and ended up being defective. The drawers should’ve had the runners on them already. The holes for the screws were not lined up correctly so the runners didn’t line up. This resulted in the drawers sticking and one getting completely jammed. It is a beautiful desk but not worth the time and effort to assemble. Way too time consuming to assemble.

Took me, a 49 year old partially handy woman, 2 days to assemble. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Screws went in super hard and not always flush as should be. Drawers stick and don’t slide well. I thought for the price it would be nicer but at least it looks okay. Good enough for a home office I guess.

This desk was on sale when we purchased it. It is great value for the money. The material is good quality, the hardware is excellent quality. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the parts and pieces are clearly marked. There are a lot of pieces, and it will take some time to assemble, but it’s not hard and you only need a phillips-head screwdriver to complete the assembly.

This desk comes as a flat-packed item that must be fully assembled. I am using it right now to type this review. The desk is narrow and provides less surface space than many other desks. It’s great for working with a computer where a lot of desk space isn’t needed. If you need room to spread items such as reference materials out then you may need a bigger desk. Check the dimensions carefully.
I found the leg space to be very comfortable (I am a 5’9 man). The drawers are more than adequate for me and the two top shallow drawers are no problem.
Assemble was straightforward but somewhat complex (there are a lot of pieces). There were no significant problems in putting it together.

I love this desk. It looks beautiful and well-made. It did take a little longer to build than I was expecting, but it wasn’t difficult. The instructions were good. The desk has a surprising amount of storage.
