I’m not an expert about SSDS but what i can say is that i do love the sequential read/write speeds on this thing, just a bit disappointed it didn’t arrive with a screw so i had to order a set, (you only need one screw to hold it in place) it is a very good SSD loads my game pretty fast and after doing some research this is probably the best budget SSD you can get right now.

good price for the speed and storage. so easy to install and has been holding up well for my gaming pc. had some kind of electrical damage before and had to replace several parts, including both hard drives, so this really saved me.

If you want to add 2T to your computer’s storage in a fast moving Solid State Drive, you can’t beat this. If you can open your computer’s case (in my situation a desktop), you can install this. The only suggestion I have is to buy a heat sink to insure a long product life. Also make sure you use a magnetic screwdriver when installing it.
To give you an idea of how seamless my experience has been, I installed it about 3 weeks ago, and when Amazon just sent me an email asking to review it, I’d forgotten all about buying and installing it. That’s a good thing!
It’s fast, but since I don’t sit with a stopwatch at my computer timing its operation, I just absorbed its speed into my life without another thought. I do know that when I downloaded my data from another drive, about 1.9T, I was surprised that it only took a few hours.
It does what it’s supposed to do, quickly and without drama.

Best quality high speed SSD for the price. Go in easily. Just be aware the drive does not come with a locking screw or a heat sink. The Samsung Magician Software is surprisingly feature rich in managing your drives and overall performance. A good value.

Installation was easy. I bought an inexpensive PCIe to M.2 Type M adapter, and used Samsung Magician to clone my existing smaller SSD. That process only took 25 min to migrate 368 GB to the new drive. Then I removed the old drive and put the new drive in its place. Rebooted and bingo! no re-activation needed for Win 11 Pro. New Samsung EVO drive is incredibly fast. Easy Peasy !
