You cannot go wrong with the Ninja brand. This one even has a sous vide setting. I make a dish in this at least once a week. Even though it’s non stick, I do recommend getting disposable crock pot liners. They’re well worth the money and they’re cheap. I love that it has the warming feature. I put my pork tenderloin up to cook and wasn’t worried worried when we got home 3
45 minutes after the time finished. It was in the warm setting-perfectly cooked and waiting for us to eat!! Stick with this one.

I had the older version of this and love the ninja slow cookers. They are so much easier to clean than the ceramic crock type of crock pots and slow cookers. The only thing I don’t like and reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the crock part sits up outside of the main unit. I can’t figure out why they designed it this way. It causes the whole unit to sit up higher, which means it doesn’t fit under upper cabinets (when sitting on a kitchen counter you have to have it scooted out from under your upper cabinets) and it makes it much taller to store…it doesn’t fit inside my kitchen cabinet well because of the raised height of it now due to this design.
I still love the way it cooks and how easy it is to clean but would love to know why it’s designed this way because it’s a bit of a pain both on the countertop and for storage. I have also usually stored this with the lid turned upside down (so the handle doesn’t stick up), but it won’t stay on the crock that way and always falls down into the crock part…all my other crock pots and my old ninja cooker I stored this way to save space with the lid but you can’t do that with this one, fyi.

It’s amazing to cook in and easy to use. Would recommend getting it. It’s not that pricey either. We are a family of 6 and the size is perfect. The food smell is amazing when you cook with it. Performance is great, you can do a lot of different types of cooking with it. The temperature isn’t that bad, like other crockpots.

When my crockpot died after its 10 year run I was just going to replace it with the same basic model… then I looked at the price! Basic is about half of what this costs at full price and Amazon pricing made it a 30 dollar difference. The ninja is absolutely amazing. Very easy to use with settings even this dad could easily understand without looking at the directions. Cooks amazing and the clean up is so much easier. It’s bigger than it looks but can cook small amounts easily because of the shaping… which fits perfectly in a dishwasher btw. This thing makes me look like I can actually cook!!

The cooker has lots of functionalities for many different things: Baking, slow-cooking, braising etc. BUT what I miss the most is a good healthy companion, i.e. a recipe-book to get the most out of my cooker. There are only a few videos on the internet for this cooker. I purchased a recipe book on Amazon for it, but I found that only about 20% of the recipes provided where interesting. The rest is the usual chili con carne and alikes, which don’t appeal to me. I wish Ninja would design a master-class for this, incorporating Indian, Thai and other international food recipes to try in the cooker. Than it would be really a PRO!
