I’ve seen mixed reviews on this Ninja Food Processor but I’m here to say I’m loving it! It’s a powerful little workhorse and I use it primarily to make salsa from my garden and after 10 years of using a more nationally known brand which was adequate, I’m finding this new Ninja to be phenomenal is speed and processing power. So I’m giving it 5 stars today. I hope it lasts me as long as my other one. I love the little recipe booklet that came with it and I’m planning to try some of the dough recipes included in it… I’ll be back with an update 🙂

I decided to start making fresh food for my dog due to the high cost of fresh dog food. I followed a recipe that I found, and, with all of the dicing involved, the process from start to finish took almost 3 hours. So, I made a couple of adjustments, such as baking the chicken and vegetables first, then put them into the ninja, and after two pulse chops, I was done. I did find that the metal blade worked better than the plastic one for the meat.

This food processor saves so much time with slicing and chopping. It has a strong motor and the size is perfect for my family. I have been using the food processor for a month now and can’t find one thing I don’t like about it. It’s easy to use; easy to clean, and saves a lot of my time since I no longer have to chop, dice or slice ingredients. It can be used for kneading dough, another time saver. In short, I love this product!

just received this yesterday. The unpacking had me worried some as my kitchen is small and its a bit bigger than I had envisioned. But.. I haven’t even used it yet and I am so impressed. I have purchased shark Items before, and still use a Canister vacuum that 20+ years old and I love it and they don’t make anymore. Back to this machine, its sturdy, its tall, its so versatile, three different size shoots for feeding, two different blades, and 2 different shredder/slicer. The base suction cups are strong hold. The clear canister is very clearly marked for contents quantity and large and very thick for sturdiness, the blades all had nice easy peel stickers that come off and instructions seemingly so far very thorough. Color is fine. The accessory box is a must have even though I will need to make a home for both. I have not used it yet, just cleaned with warm soapy water in prep for use. I am very impressed so far and will update after use.

This arrived June 27. September 18th I found 2 cracks on the shoot. September 19th, I contacted Ninja and had a great experience once I was past the punch this number, say what you want, etc. messages. The tech person was very helpful and told me to return it and they would have a new one out in 3-5 days. I told him all I needed was the lid but he insisted I needed to return everything in exchange for a new machine. Turns out it’s a new model and they want the first one back so they can figure out why the problem happens and correct it. While we were still on the phone, he sent me emails with a return label, the order for the new machine, and the return order. At 9:47 p.m. I received an e-mail that the new machine had shipped by FedEx. I was expecting a request for photos/video, possibly some stalling and this is what I received. Can’t beat it!
I’m really enjoying this machine. I use it for chopping nuts, onions, and garlic, and slicing/shredding vegetables. Mixed up a batch of blueberry muffins in it but prefer a mixer for that. Everything comes out beautifully. Best part is how easy it is to clean; just put in some water, a bit of dish detergent, pulse away, and rinse. Yes, it’s big and I have to store the bottom one place and the bowl another but that’s small inconvenience for what it does for me.
Update: The replacement came this morning, less than 48 hours after calling Customer Service. I notice one difference in the base of the new machine over the first one: the feet on this new one stick to the counter much firmer than those on the first one. I’ll be building some biceps from removing it for storage.
November 29, 2022 — I love this machine, but I’m not loving the life I’m getting out of the lid. Today I found a crack in the replacement lid received September 18. I am not hard on any of my kitchen appliances and treat them with care. This food processor gets used once or twice a week at most. I am puzzled as to why a second lid has cracked in the same location as one of the cracks on the first lid. Contacted Ninja and was connected with a woman whose English was, to say the least, difficult to understand. After almost half an hour of explaining the problem to her and eventually getting a link so she could see the part, I was told that a replacement lid would be $29 and something (couldn’t understand her) and that with postage it would come to $41 and something (again, couldn’t understand her). I provided credit card information and had to remind her that she needed my mailing address. At this point, I’m thinking I’ll need to factor in $41+ every couple of months for replacement lids. Need I say that prospect is not a happy one?
Ninja definitely needs to do something about this lid and its short life expectancy! The food processor itself is great and I’d highly recommend it — if it didn’t need replacement lids every couple of months!

It’s a great food processor. Very powerful and will shred, slice, and process just about any ingredient with ease. Super easy to clean. A bit loud but it is a food processor.
I do wish the slicer was adjustable thickness.

I have a ninja 3 cup chopper/mini food processor that I’ve used for YEARS and it still works perfectly. But I needed something larger. I was nervous because I bought the ninja smoothie bullet type blender a few years back, and while it works well it is painfully loud. This one is NOT, it’s like a whisper it’s so quiet. It cuts evenly no matter how much I put in, super clear directions. Love that I can pop it in the dishwasher. I have the base on the counter next to my air fryer tucked under a little hideaway shelf. Easy to pull out, use and push back. The suction cups on the base to keep it sturdy or surprisingly powerful! Very nice touch. So many brands seem to have lost their credibility and have lost my trust. But, Ninja has not, I completely trust their products to be quality, sturdy, easy to use and to last for years and years no matter if it’s a small or large model.

We looked a lot before we bought this food processor. It is larger than any we had before, but it does a really good job of chopping things uniformly in the whole bowl. It has a double blade setup that we think helps with this. We have used it for about a year now and whether chopping, slicing or shredding it has done a good job. The only 2 concerns, it can be a little hard to get aligned right so it can run and the plastic center mount on the shredding disk breaks in 2. It appears to be a horrible design. We are on our 3rd and we dont use it all that often. The last one was out of warranty but when I complained, they gave me this one for free again.
