Cool little light, to bad it doesn’t work worth a damn…
The motion detection is completely non functioning, which makes a light that sold as a motion detection device utterly useless…

I received a very nice response from the seller that is indeed magnetic, you have to remove a plastic piece from the base. I don’t remember if there was any paperwork in the box so this is probably my own fault!

Sometimes the spot where you need a nightlight isn’t near an outlet. This light is fantastic for those situations.
We’re putting this in the bathroom of our RV. Instead of fumbling around in the dark for the light switch, this light will automatically turn on as we open the door allowing us to use the facilities without blinding ourselves at night by the bright overhead light.
I’ve tested the charging, light and the motion detection at home and they work great. I haven’t mounted it yet, and I’m not sure I will use the included adhesive mounting tape/circle. I’m a big fan of command strips in the RV, and I may go that route. I’ll update this review if there is any new, helpful information that I can share.
I also love that it’s rechargeable so I won’t have to carry around extra batteries for it.
The only concern I have is the magnetic mount holding secure when we are on the road. I will probably just put the light in the cupboard when we’re moving down the road to prevent it from getting shaken loose, falling and potentially getting damaged.

The light is soft and warm. It’s good for a closet. Unfortunately, I’m returning the product since the motion sensing doesn’t work and the light won’t be bright enough for the spot I need it.

I get a pale white light with it, which in of itself is always solid to brighten a space. For this specific motion light, it is passable. It still uses micro usb connector to charge. The swivel magnetic backing is plastic, and the LED itself can easily be taken off to charge again (very nice design in this area). Once both LED and base are aligned I wouldn’t want moving it around much if at all however. The base is affixed with a 3M style tape which is for convenient purposes, although the one downside of that is how long it will be there given the elements. I think the option to drill and affix on a wall would dramatically improve usability long term.

Who knows if it works. No batteries included. Maybe worth a dollar or two in parts. Greatly overpriced and no batteries which might partly justify price if included. A complete waste of money! Don’t be deceived.
