Being a esthetician (skin care specialist) and a makeup artist for 27 years.. I have sampled every brand you can think of.
That being said.. THIS setting spray with SPF and hydration ingredients is the best I have EVER used.
-especially when spritzing on top of your makeup to refresh, reset, and PROTECT your face.
I use this EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I get compliments after EVERY SINGLE SPRAY.
And I spray it (refresh) every 90 minutes whenever I am exposed to sunlight.
I have even managed to get all of my co-workers to purchase this spray and follow my lead when taking a “spritz break” to walk to the bathroom and do a quick spray/refresh. They all trust my opinion because I am a licensed esthetician and know how to preserve my skin.
We all wear makeup to work and it truly refreshes (even the thickest/cake) makeup.
AND IT WON’T STING YOUR EYES!
I have tried other brands from chain stores that have something called helio-plex (not sure of the spelling) that literally stings when I open my eyes. Only to make my makeup look greasy 20 minutes later.
But this SPF setting spray is worth every single penny. It works for sensitive skin, it hydrates, and has the best anti aging properties.
There is a reason people never guess my actual age- it’s because I am consistent with using SPF. And this spray is my #1 go to product that I have used for the last 3+ years.
SPF is the key to preserving the “skin you’re in”
And if you’re a makeup gal like myself, we need SPF to set our faces but also need that additional protection.
Allllllll of that being said…. I will always recommend this product as my “secret skin saver” (sadly- unpaid promoting) and tell everyone that it’s better to spend the $12 now, and maintain your face. Rather than $12,000 later in life for a face lift and laser treatments.

I bought the SPF 30 version of this after reading reviews suggesting that this could be used to touch up sunscreen OVER makeup hours after application–as most know, sunscreen needs to be reapplied, and there is no elegant way to apply it over makeup.
I wear very light makeup over a Missha 50 SPF sunscreen: brow gel, mascara, spot concealer, Dr+ Jart Tiger Cream, and lip balm. I set it with loose powder and Skindinavia Bridal Spray, and it provides a your-face-but-better look. And this looked like a great way to reapply sunscreen over the makeup.
BUT is shiny as any sunscreen–emphasis on SHINY; I cannot use any the words dewy, glass, or any other epithet that might imply an attractive finish on a day other than one at the beach. And you can feel it sitting on your skin. It is very obvious that you are wearing sunscreen (or worse, implies a hyperhidrosis problem).
That said, the spray nozzle is great, and the fact that it does provide sun protection means I’ll give a 3 star review. But I’m still looking for something that will truly work for daily wear sunscreen touch up.

As my first make up setting spray, this was amazing. It held my make up up to at least 12 hours and I was in the sun for most of the time sweating. It was amazing that it kept the makeup in however, if you are using water activated graphic liners it does not keep that in. It is still very smudgey and it doesn’t properly seal the water-based graphic eyeliner make up however it works on all kinds of different make up. I kept spraying it and it also helped me hydrate a little so I would definitely recommend it for anything going to a concert with make up on but in general for every day use it is perfect. I would buy again.

This setting spray is super nice and makes the face matte. It holds up decent, but you need to literally drench your face. Not good for if you’re active or sweat a lot. Definitely not water or sweat resistant and kinda wore off throughout the day. Made my face super blurred and smooth though.

This is my New “go to” dew spray!!! I love the way it feels on my skin, the dewy look I get, the lasting look it leaves, and all the compliments I receive. It definitely beats the $50 bottle I used to get from another company. I definitely give this product 5 Stars all around! A must try!!

I work in an office where the women are always cold, which means the heat is always turned up. I am always getting hot/sweaty. My makeup would look terrible throughout the day as my t-zone would get extremely oily. I started using this spray (first time user) once in the morning after makeup application (about 3-4 squirts) and it works for me all day. My face does not get oily and my makeup stays in place. It looks good with a matte finish as described. Super easy to use, and it feels good. It is not sticky whatsoever. I highly recommend this. I received this about 10 days ago and have used it everyday since and even though you receive smaller bottles (two 2.03 oz bottles) I have only got into the first bottle and it hasn’t made a dent. I will be able to use the first bottle for AT LEAST 1 month. It’s worth the money.

The bottle is too small for the price -.- I really like this setting spray , makes your face dewy and makeup last longer. No stickiness, comfortable, not water resistant though I just don’t like how pricy it is for a small bottle-.-
Overall, the performance of this product is worth buying if you want a lasting and dewy makeup look 😉

Great setting spray at an affordable price! Light, pretty scent that does not linger, makeup stays in place better through heat and humidity. My favorite setting spray at the moment!
