This I mostly use in a dish with a couple tablespoons of a good olive oil excellent bread dip! But add the Seasoning a little at a time till you find just the right amount. Delicious.

I use this on everything. I once took a jar of this over to a friend’s house and had him sprinkle some on his scrambled eggs. He refused to give the jar back. So I had to buy more. It’s wonderful stuff.

For the last 30 some years, I’ve fried the 20 pound turkey each Thanksgiving…plus 6 more for the high school staff each year after I retired…plus 2 for the hunting club each deer season. I tried about every big name brand of rub over the years, but none top this one. The skin gets crispy on fried turkeys, and with this rub, it tastes just like bacon. I wish all the grocery stores sold it. PS: also one of the cheaper rubs. Used to buy it @ Food Lion for less than $2.

Mostly salt so you don’t get a lot of the other flavors without using so much that your food becomes a salt lick. Slap Ya Mama has 1/3 less salt, more flavor, pretty good balance.

Wow, best steak fajitas ever! Grill up 6 bell peppers ( I used Red, Yellow and Orange). Two large yellow onions and a large amount of sliced mushrooms! Season with Louisiana Fish Fry Cajun Seasoning. Once done move over or take off.

Slice up about 3 lbs of Chuck Steak or Chuck roast if you can’t find the steak. YES Chuck! Much better then skirt steak or flank steak, and cheaper!!!! Remove “hard fat” and cut up into small pieces.

Grill that up again using Louisiana Fish Fry Cajun Seasoning and you’ll have a party in your mouth!

    Best Tacos Ever!!

This is absolutely the best Cajun seasoning, because it isn’t salty..you can add as much as you like without worrying that you’re creating a salt bomb. I refuse to use anything else.

This product is a nice addition to my pantry. Spice is just what we wanted for our seafood boil. Will purchase again.

A friend whose wife is from Alabama was using this seasoning when we were working together on a well in Wyoming about 15 years ago. My favorite application is on thick (one inch) pork sirloin cutlets seasoned on both sides with a rub or dusting of Louisiana Original Cajun Seasoning, salt and pepper, and cooked on a hot grill or cast iron pan, seared at high temperature for about 3 minutes per side and then cooked at medium temperature for an additional 6 minutes per side for a total cooking time of 18 minutes. Note this review is for Louisiana Original Cajun Seasoning, not the Louisiana Fish Fry Cajun Seasoning shown in this review. I use the Fish Fry seasoning as well on non-oily fish like bass, walleye and perch and it is very good too.
