These are so cute and comfy! Since I am not curvy at all, I went up one size from my normal 2 to a 4 and the waist fits perfectly! The rest is a bit baggy, but I wanted a nice baggy leg. They drape nicely with a good medium thickness to the material. For reference, my waist is about a 27.5 and the 4 fits nicely but not tight at all, so there is some room to spare. If I had bigger hips or thighs, there would be room for them in these jeans.

Love Lee jeans. These run quite small and are a heavier weight

I am 5’6 111lbs, curvy. I usually wear a size 6 or 8. These are made for a curvy lady however, I couldn’t button the top button. I bought a size 8 short, because I wear sneakers, perfect length. Nice fabric, well made jeans.

I have struggled for years to find jean that I love. I have wider hips and a smaller waist for jeans never have fit me very good. These though are the best pair of jean I have ever owned. I love them so much & Im going to be buying more pairs for sure. They are jean material, not “jegging”, but still super comfortable & have some stretch. I was told to size down & I would definitely recommend that too. The price for the quality of these jeans is amazing. I own some pricy jeans and these are way better than them. I love the wide leg but the snuggle fit at the hips & upper thigh.

I used the size chart and got a pair of jeans that fits me very well. My only complaiint is that the black fabric is quite solid and heavy. Heavier than denim , as others have mentioned. I will wash them and hope for more softness over time. I am tall but ordered a regular and the length is very good for me, I don’t’ wear heels.

I was so disappointed with these. I used the size chart pictured with the item and ordered the xs which stated waist size was 26/26.5. All of my pants are a 26 waist, but I couldn’t even zip these up. They were otherwise really cute. I loved the color, width and shape of the leg. I didn’t want to order the next size up because I was worried the rest of the pants would be way too big. I am just returning them.

I am a skinny tall person so I find it hard to find clothes in my size (think 5 ft 10 in 115 lbs). I bought the size 2 long and they fit perfectly!! They have been through the wash several times and are not shrinking! Super comfortable, make my butt look good, and have REAL FRONT POCKETS!!!! The front pockets can fit my keys, phone, and chapstick!! Great thickness for summertime and I can’t wait to try them out in the winters here. Will buy again!

I had decided to try wide leg dress pants and found them flattering and so comfortable , so I decided to try a pair of wide leg jeans. I bought them in a short because I am about 5’4”. The hem on the blue pair was perfect and they actually hit at my waist. These jeans are so comfortable I will never go back to skinny jeans again. I absolutely love them. I then ordered two more pairs The dark grey and another blue. Even though I ordered the same short size. The dark grey were about 2 inches longer. This means that a longer pair of pants was not tagged correctly or cut incorrectly. This is a quality control issue.
I am a seamstress so I just folded them above the hem about two inches and sewed it. Although if you don’t sew that would probably be annoying. They are now perfect. I prefer the blue color because most of my clothes are blue, but will keep the distressed grey because they are so comfortable. The other pair of blue should be in today. I even had a lady stop me today in TJ Maxx and ask me where I got them. I am 54 years old and my husband said they look good. I would keep them just for that 😁. I am not removing a star because one was longer. It really was not a problem for me.

I always start out saying that measuring tape doesnt lie. This brand is Lee. Like most brands, they have their own size chart. Also this particular style won’t flatter all figures… Especially if you choose a size too small. So measure yourself, and look at the sizing guide. Theres a bit of a trick to it (not really).

    I like:
1.The material of these jeans is soft and has some stretch to it but its not suffocating in warmer weather.
    2. The high waist is perfect height.
    3. They give the perfect silouhette (like wide legs pants/jeans circa 1930s-1950s) *as long as you get the correct size for YOUR measurements.*

My height and weight cannot help you decide your own size. Why? You might ask.

I AM 5’4″. My measurements taken with a seamstress tape at various times of the year:

Fullest part of bust with bra on: 35-37
    Waist at navel: 25-27
    Hips:35-37

My legs and arms are a bit lengthy and my shoulders are broad. I have to buy larger shirts just because of my shoulders for some brands.

Someone with the same height and and weight as myself might have a larger bust, a smaller waist and hips than mine. And they would need a smaller size of these jeans and wear larger size shirts.

Or if a person is a pear figure they might need a larger size while their shirt size would likely ve smaller than mine. Even if we weigh the same we need different sizes. Get it? Good.

I purchased the 2 short. Why?
    1. Im 5’4″.
    2. My waist measures 26″ most of the time.
    3. My hips measure 37″ most of the time.

Usually when jeans are sized they shouldnt be the exact same measurement as the body. They should provide an extra inch or so to accomodate for tucking in your shirt a d fitting over undergarments.

I had a suspicion that Lee would factor that into the sizes… They did.

The jeans add 1.5 inches to accomodate and they call it size 2 (i guess for vanity’s sake?). While the EU size us 26 (an actual size 6 according to classic garment making). They are stretchy so the fit is a little more forgiving than a non stretch alternative. However these jeans are not the same as skinny jeans. Youre not supposed to squeeze into them.

For that perfect silhouette, you really must pay atrention to your waist AND hip measurements. If the difference between your waist and hips is greater than 15″ i.e. You’re a wasp waist hourglass (i kind of envy you guys), or a wasp waist pear: you want to make sure these are the right fit for your hips first. Thet should give that extra 1-1.5 according to the chart, or even get a size up. After you get them you could take them to a tailor to custom fit the waist (if you got a perfect hip size) and the hip area to perfection (thats where the larger size comes in) and these would look SUPER AMAZING on you.

A banana figure may need a small adjustment at the waist or hips. They could possibly size down if their hips and waist have a very small difference since the material stretches.

If you have an apple or inverted triangle figure, you should pay the most attention to your waist size. If necessary, you can also have the hips adjusted to improve the line if your silhouette.

Final thoughts: i am happy that I can find wide leg jeans easier now. Before, i would just make do with boot cut jeans (i like those a lot too). I had to wait a while for them to come back in style (jeans at least). However, i dont think it should be like this. Jeans arent supposed ti be like this! Different jeans flatter different figures in various ways. For instance an inverted triangle figure might have a more striking silhouette in a set of jeans with a harem pant fit, or a Monroe style jean. Both would balance out the shoulder line quite well. An apple body would probably rock some bell bottoms like a champ by highlighting slender thighs and having the bell to balance their upper body.
Each figure can create the perfect silhouette for their personality and figure. So… Look at all the various jean styles available and choose whats best for YOUR body and personality.

After all comfortable clothes that compliment our figures are always the best!

It’s been a while since I’v purchaced jans that are this quality. The fabric is thick which make the jeans feel bulky. But, they’re really quality jeans. I’m 5’5 and bought the short. They’ll be perfect with a shoe with about an inch sole/heel. Was is a bit snug but I carry a little weight around my middle. Love the hi waist. and big pockets.
