Description
The GEARWRENCH Bolt Biter™ nut drivers are designed with innovative features to grip rounded out, frozen, and damaged fasteners. The revolutionary Bolt Biter™ gripping design is bi-directional, seats quickly and safely on fasteners, and removes easily from fasteners after use. Bolt Biter™ nut drivers offer an impact ready option that delivers extreme durability. Bolt Biter™ technology redefines extraction by gripping rounded fasteners rather than cutting into them, which means these nut drivers last 50x longer than competition.

Worked perfectly

I usually don’t write reviews but this thing saved my a** the other day so I thought it deserved one. Tried using an O2 sensor socket but even that stripped out the sensor on my car.
I also usually wouldn’t spend 25 bucks on something like this but I figured I’d give it a shot and it probably ended up saving me an hour or two of aggravation and cursing. Worked like a charm the first shot.
I had to file the rounded off parts on the sensor first and then I tapped it on with a hammer (block of wood in between to dampen the vibrations). It didn’t go on all the way but that was all it needed. This thing really bites.
Highly recommend these for stripped nuts and bolts.

Plain and simple, ordered for 24mm bolt, hammered the socket onto the rounded head, and it took it right off.

Got this delivered over the weekend for a nox sensor that was rusted in the One box on a Freightliner. The first time I put a turn on it, the sensor was on the way out. I would normally use an oxygen sensor socket to get them out but when they don’t want to move, you might as well use this or put a new bung on it. CP the tool addict was right, these sockets are worth the cost. The socket itself is thick and stout, 1/2″ drive so you can get a long ratchet on it for extra leverage. It easily removed the sensor.

This will tear out old beat stripped 02 sensors with absolute ease!!! Ine if the best specialty sockets I’ve bought to date!

I spent hours trying to remove a rounded bolt. Bought this and got it in 5 minutes. Would recommend.

I had difficulty with an oxygen sensor and had tried everything to get it off. It was stripped so bad I thought I was going to have to take the whole catalytic converter and part of exhaust off to get it out. I ended up having to cut it off leaving only the stripped nut left. I bought this socket and had very limited room to work. I was able to tap it on as far as possible and was amazed when it came loose. The socket is built very heavy and even has a hex you can put a wrench on if needed. I highly recommend this for any stripped nut or bolt heads!

Bought this to remove a stubborn 10mm nut from the positive battery terminal of a Kia Soul. It’s 10mm. Look it up. There is zero doubts about its size.
The extractor does not BEGIN to go onto the nut. It’s too small, and too small to even try to round into the nut.
Complete fail. I dug out an old Craftsmen 10mm socket that I had long forgot about, and it remove the stubborn Kia 10mm nut easily.
TOTAL FAIL. COMPLETE PASS. WASTE OF TIME. NOT RECOMMENDED.
