You get what you pay. I needed and small cheap desk for a child’s room and this fit the price range I was willing to spend. I expected it to be cheap and it’s exactly what I expected. It won’t be used that often so I’m not worried. I definitely wouldn’t get it as a regular use item. The picture makes it look darker then it is, I expected it to be closer to black than brown, but it’s much more brown.

I know It’s a $50 desk. You get what you pay for, so my expectations were pretty low. Even then, this desk is not good. It’s a pain to assemble – directions, especially those around the keyboard tray – are unclear and frustrating. Upon assembly, it’s still wobbly. It’s so unstable it’s nearly unfunctional on carpet without anchoring it to a wall or the floor in some way. I have many other diy assembled furniture pieces in my home from Ikea & amazon. It’s not an assembly skill gap, it’s a quality failure in the desk itself. Spend a little more $$ to get something better – I know I wish I would have.

This was the first thing I have ever build on my own. Normally I save this for my husband but since I was home I thought I would tackle it. I do not recommend you building this on your own if you can avoid it. There were several things I had to screw in/push at the same time that I had to like wrap my legs around to get it in (I am a small woman). I also had a hard time with the pictures and what they were wanting me to do, because again, this was my first time seeing any of this. It can be done, I do like the desk, and I was able to put it together, but if you can, build with another person.

I needed a desk but had only a really small corner and this desk fits perfectly. It has enough space that you can open a laptop and write on the side.
But I would not recommend a big / heavy monitor on top of it as this is not sturdy. Same for the key board tray, this is very flimsy and narrow.

I purchased this for a very inexpensive price by purchasing Used- Like New, which it actually was, so I was not expecting much at all in terms of quality, it arrived about as I expected but for what I needed it worked well. While it is not difficult to put together it is time consuming, and when I went to attach the keyboard panel the pre-drilled holes for the screws were not deep enough and the panel started to split when I was putting screw in. I stopped immediately and reached out to customer service via their form online for replacement parts, that was 4 days ago, followed up again via the email they gave in the response to request and still nothing. I will most likely just throw it away and not go through the hassle of putting it all back in box to return, as the keyboard panel was a must have for me with a desk.

It’s a nice desk and easy to build. However it’s not sturdy. But still usable. It’s good for a quick fix but I wouldn’t recommend this if your a hardcore gamer.

I bought this for my room, which is pretty small, and this was a perfect fit in the little corner in my room! It’s kinda shaky, but I love how cute it is!

It’s a little smaller than most desks but I needed something small for the space I had to put it in so it worked perfectly. If you’re looking for high quality materials this isn’t it. But for the price it’s absolutly perfect. It holds up well, light weight and easy to move, and doesn’t look half bad. If you want something cheap that’s usable, this is the desk for you. Assembly instructions could use some actual words to help out with putting it together but if you’ve put together Ikea furniture before then you’ve got this.
