Description
Furinno JAYA Compact Computer Study Desk is designed for space saving and modern stylish look. It is great for apartments and dorms where space is limited. The shelves on both sides provide storage spaces for computer, books and other accessories. The main material – medium density composite wood is manufactured in Malaysia and complied with the green rules of production. The PVC tube is made from recycled plastic and is tested for its durability. There is no foul smell, durable and the material is the most stable amongst the medium density composite woods. A simple attitude towards lifestyle is reflected directly on the design of Furinno Furniture, creating a trend of simply nature. All the products are produced and assembled 100-percent in Malaysia with 95% – 100% recycled materials. Care instructions: wipe clean with clean damped cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Easy to assemble though I wish it had come with the tools. It’s a great size and not bulky taking up a lot of space in the width and the shelves are very handy. Have had it about 2 months and no issues. Quality is good for the price and has a nice color.

I purchased the Espresso computer desk for my teen son back in December 2021. It’s now mid March 2022 and is holding up well with daily use. I wanted something small and affordable, that would match his other Espresso bedroom furniture, and had some sort of storage space. I went back and forth between this and a few others from the brand, and am pretty happy with my choice.
Set up is very easy. My husband didn’t realize it came with instructions, and had it set up in 15 minutes without them. The styrofoam packaging was an annoying mess to deal with, but every piece was accounted for and in perfect condition. The desk is sturdy, without any wobbling.
We are using a simple folding chair, which fits perfectly. There isn’t much leg room, so I don’t know that a typical wheeled desk chair would fit, but there is enough leg room for my 5’7 165lb son to sit comfortably.
There is just enough desk room to use his laptop, with a separate keyboard and mouse. I do wish this had a keyboard tray, however, having the 4 side shelves makes up for that.
Overall, I do recommend this desk- for its affordability, style, and simple set up. It will work well in small spaces, for kids or smaller adults. I have 3 side tables from this same brand, that I purchased over 3 years ago, and they still look new. I typically use a microfiber cloth to clean off my Furinno furniture, but I have also used Clorox wipes and Murphy’s Oil Soap, without issue. Though, I’m guessing, if it gets too wet, too often, the finish will bubble. However, if you need affordable furniture, that won’t be put through a ton of wear and tear, this brand has decent products!

He really love the desk. It fits well in our home. We live in a very comfortable small home . Space is an issue . We always have to buy the right size of furniture to fit in our place. This DESK is really great. Would also be great for college dorms too. Very easy to put together.

I’m please with the style, except it will only hold up 20lbs. The shelves are a little weak. It could be my fault I only went by the picture. It looks nice, and wired out.

A week after assembling the top part is already sagging. I haven’t even placed items on it yet. It’s functional I guess but it’s not going to last very long before it just sort of disintegrates. I wanted to use this for a sewing machine but it’s just too poor quality for that. Would be ok for a desk that doesn’t get a lot of use.

As a woman who has very limited “handyman” skills I was able to assemble this on my own with no issues except my dogs wanted to be my “helpers” It is not suitable for heavy objects and is small but I bought it to support my printer and some other misc office supplies and it works great for that. I am not using it as a desk but as a support shelf/table beside my desk. It is functional as a desk but would be quite small, depending on your needs and equipment that you utilize. But a nice purchase for the money.

The installation was very complex. And even after that the entire assemble is very unstable. It is like a package of cards delicately poised and a little movement or push her or there causes the entire assembly to come apart.

Sturdy. Looks good. Height good to put mixing board and other monitors on for church. Not too bulky. Extra shelves for miscellaneous items. Looks good against other furniture. Good price.

For the price you’re paying it’s definitely a cheaper desk although it is held up further over the past year with all the crafting I have done. I love the height of it and how sturdy it is actually. Definitely recommend if you need something for a temporary use or just need something that’s on the cheaper side
