The Honest Reviewer –
Now, I fell for this initially as I was looking for a relatively cheap extra desk for storing and using for doing some art with. I looked at the pictures and it seemed like a nice sturdy desk and the price wasn’t too bad so I went ahead and got it…
What a mistake. This thing is the cheapest piece of garbage I have ever had the displeasure of putting my hands on.
—- THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE YOU BUY:
– The panels are made of the cheapest fiberboard that will snap in half if you put more than 15 lbs of weight on it, they laminated them to try and fool you into thinking its decent material.
— The construction provides MINIMAL structural rigidity the thing barely even stands up the slightest touch makes the entire desk wobble side to side, the assembly design is just as cheap and garbage as the materials, everything is held together with tiny wooden pins and extremely loose fitting screws.
— The posts for the 3 shelves are hollow plastic that is rather thin and mine came warped and the wrong size so the shelves didn’t even fit into place tightly they moved around and/or sat at an angle.
— After 4 days of light use the entire thing became unusable and broken into ten pieces it became literal garbage….
Now, I bought this thing when it was maybe $30 I think somewhere around there. Now I see it for VASTLY more and even upwards of $100+. For the love of god please, PLEASE do not waste your money on a desk like this. There are so, so many desks around Amazon that for $20 more you can get a solid wood desk with a solid metal frame that will last you for decades. I pray that this review reaches somebody out there who will see this and avoid making the same mistake that I did.

Looking for a small but functional desk for the guest room and got this. It is pretty small so it’s more ideal for a children’s desk but I love the shelves and it was really easy to put together. Worth it for the price

I guess with this product I experienced when they say “you get what you paid for.” I loved how this item looked online and needed something for small space and in a hurry. There were no instructions so I had to go based on what the front of the box showed. Some of the boards had the holes made in the wrong place. So a shelf and one of the boards are wobbly and/or crooked. On one board, when I went to screw it in, one of the screws came out the board and broke a slight piece of it. One shelf I was not able to screw in due to the holes being made in the wrong place. Other than these issues I guess it’s ok. It’s nice and does well for a small space. I just wish the holes were made in the right place so it can be as sturdy as it should be. It’ll do for now but I def want to replace very soon

I give it 5-stars because it’s good for what it is. It’s $27 so you shouldn’t expect it to be the best. It’s good for small spaces, kid’s room, small desktop setups, or laptops with a small chair. It’s pretty lightweight, but once it has a few things on it to weigh it down a little it will be better. You just have to be easy with it because it does get bumped around easily.
1. Assemble the 2 down legs and their cross brace onto the main desk top underside first.
2. Lay the top shelf onto the floor with a towel or carpeted underneath not to scratch it, and use the heel of your foot to push the top pole cap into the bottom of the top shelf piece.
3. Begin assembling the entire shelf section separately by screwing the top shorter pole into the top plastic piece you pressed into the top shelf. ITS THREADED, and does NOT snap into place.
4. Then you place the 2nd shelf onto the bottom of the top pole, and screw the bottom pole (longer) into the top sandwiching the 2nd shelf between.
5. Then place the bottom shelf onto the bottom pole and screw on the foot piece to complete it. (If you do this in a different order you can’t screw the top shelf on very easily.)
6. After you got the main desk section finished, and the shelf section finished, then begin attaching the shelf section to the main desk section.
There are some other incidentals, but hopefully you can figure those out. The main thing is to complete the two sections separately, and then combine them to finish it. Much easier that way than trying build the whole thing as one unit in some hap hazard order.
Attach it to the wall if you want more stability. For $27, I’m happy with it.
Hope this helps for those who read it.

For the most part, the desk is decent enough. The price is great, and the free shipping with Prime made it even better. It’s small, but more than big enough for what I want to use it for (I essentially just wanted something to put my laptop on). The material is cheap, of course, but it doesn’t seem in danger of falling apart. However, some of the wood did crack during assembly, which is to be expected when you are working with cheap, manufactured wood.
My biggest problem with the desk is that it is wobbly. Very wobbly. I certainly know that you get what you pay for, but my last desk was a cheap desk from Walmart that cost less than $40, and I never had a single problem with it constantly moving like this desk does. The desk itself has little support at the bottom (the legs of the desk are rather small lengthwise and do not provide a lot of stability, which is surprising since they could have easily and cheaply made it much more stable by adding an extra couple of inches of length to each leg). The desk is so wobbly that it shakes and moves when I type or when I take my hands on and off the desk. As of now, I’ve secured it against the wall, which lessened its movement, but now it has a tendency to hit the wall if and when it does move.
All in all, the desk is not a bad deal, though I would hesitate to recommend it for someone who will use it for more than a year. If a wobbly, slightly unstable desk would not bother you or if you are just looking for a desk to use on a short-term basis, then this is a great deal. If you, like me, spend a lot of time on the computer and need a desk to use for more than a year, I would suggest paying more for a sturdier desk.

Look, I ain’t no millionaire living in a huge mansion, so when we needed desks for the yungins, space was a priority. This here desk was just small enough to fit in their rooms and just wide enough to handle a laptop and just enough desktop to write on as well. The shelves aren’t really that sturdy but they can handle a couple textbooks.
This desk is definitely a throwaway desk. I’d be surprised if they last more than two school years. Made with cheap materials. But then again, they shouldn’t be “distance learning” for much longer…..right? Because if this is how it’s gonna be from now on, don’t bother buying a desk, get something more useful. Like a beanbag or a futon. Because without a real education, your kids are gonna be living with you a loooooong time. Maybe even get yourself a tent and sleeping bag, just in case you need to get away for a while. I’m not saying abandon your family and run away from home. Just take a couple of days to recharge at one of the many campgrounds that are in your area. Wear a mask, don’t wear a mask. It’s your decision. Just be safe people. Oh, and this desk is pretty cheap.

I spent around $25 for this, so I didn’t have high expectations. I had to retouch the edges and it’s clear that the finish is very prone to scratches. I wouldn’t put anything over 8lbs on it, but it’s perfect if you need a desk for small spaces. I can have a textbook and use my laptop just fine for studying, but that takes up the desktop. Don’t expect a strong and sturdy desk, and I wouldnt recommend it for children because it does feel pretty delicate. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase and the price was great.
