Don’t get me wrong, this is still a cool tool and all, but this is what feels like an unnecessary pain. The tool takes up about half an inch more space at the cutting side than my other multi-tool. The Dewalt is still nice, I’m keeping it for sure. It’s powerful, the light is nice, it’s light weight, it’s reasonably quite, but you can’t really use the round blades for much, which is a real bummer because they’re the much better at cutting straight lines than the other type.

I really like this tool. I used to have a Puly and it worked great but once the battery died I couldn’t find a replacement. So I gave up on it for many years.
The DeWalt is very nice. Very well made. This package has the sanding attachment and other blades in a nice DeWalt case inside the bag, as well.
The cutter is a little loud once you start cutting but cuts very easily.
The battery doesn’t last as long as I would have thought.
It also wasn’t 6-speed as stated, unless they were counting squeezing the trigger.

the pros : Powerful light weight easy to use
the cons : Only ONE BATTERY in the kit
the pros : easy to change cutting tips and you can lock tips in many positions to get the angle cut you need
the battery has a power check meter so you can see how much power is left in the battery
The cuts are easy to make clean and even because it cuts where you need there is no wasted material and minimal mess to clean up afterwards .

Dewalt has mad a tool for many uses. I purchased it to remove all sizes and shapes of nails that were used in my home built in 1976 . Screws were not used in my post & beam house and there were many nails poking through here and there. Tried cutting a wee bit of wood on the bottom of my doors to make room for my new floors and it worked easily and cannot tell or see any work that was done. Now on to new projects thanks to the YouTube vases and Dewalt’s videos’.
I now own a multitool, a sander and a saw along with 2 drills that have interchangeable batteries and I’m happy with the progress. I’m 65 years old and I love this new woodworking passion.
