For the price, this desk is a great deal. It doesn’t look like I spent $500 on it or anything, but it is solid and serviceable. I didn’t buy it for a desk; I actually bought it to put my AeroGarden Farm on and it is perfect for what I need.
It was packaged well ( a little too well even, with lots of tape and plastic). All the pieces were there and everything was in perfect shape. I hadn’t put anything together myself since I got married, but my husband was being lazy so I decided to do it . It took me less than an hour, start to finish, and that included stopping to explain to my husband the general idea of how it went together when he came to see what I was doing. The directions were all pictures and I am normally not a visual learner, but even without words it was easy to understand. Each piece was labeled and all the screws, etc, were pre-separated and in labeled baggies. All the holes lined up perfectly.
All im all a great product!

I assembled this desk quickly and with ALMOST no difficulty. None of the pieces showed any damage, and there were no missing pieces. The diagrams in the instructions were fairly simple to understand. My only hiccup was that when screwing the desk surface onto the metal frame, the screws tightened COUNTERCLOCKWISE, rather than clockwise like all the other screws do. This caused me a few moments of confusion and frustration as I initially thought the holes were faulty or not centered or something. Nope. Lefty tighty, righty loosey for those. I don’t know if all of these have the same quirk or just mine.
Anyway, once I realized what was going on, it was smooth sailing. The desk is considered reversible because you can situated it either way once it’s assembled. The ONLY piece that you’ll want to pay attention to, depending on whether the shelves are going to be right-hand shelves or left-hand shelves, is the small brace that goes between the end and the desk surface frame in the corner of the back side. I actually decided to swap the direction my desk faces, so I just removed and repositioned the brace, which is very simple and quick. And voila! There is a tiny bit of wobble to it as the pieces are not super heavy duty, but it is secure enough that it will hold up to moderate use and a reasonable amount of weight for its size.

For starters:
Soooo easy to assemble! I assembled this by myself in about 30-45 minutes. I hit a few bumps but that was on me, not the instructions. It was so satisfying seeing the desk come together as I went on.
The actual desk is not as heavy as I initially thought. The box it came in is heavier than the desk itself. I easily moved it from my living room to my spare room.
As you can tell from the picture, I removed the adjustable shelf altogether. I have a mid tower pc and it would not have fit with that shelf on either adjustment. Keep that in mind if you have a pc!
The one thing I love about this desk is the shelf is not too high! The only thing that I wish could’ve went different was me getting the next size up. I measured out the space and rearranged the spare room thinking that this desk was going to be bigger. I do love this size though! It is perfect for a set up of one monitor. I recommend getting the next size up if you have a dual monitor set up.
I was surprised that the desk was as good of quality as it is! It does not feel or look cheap whatsoever. The metal is really smooth, sleek and free of dents/scratches. Another good thing is the manufacturer gives you extra nuts & bolts just in case.
I HIGHLY recommend this desk to anyone that is looking for cheap and great quality. Perfect for YOUR perfect setup whether it’s for gaming, office or stationary! 🙂

We wanted a small computer and work desk for our laptop and printer that would fit into a corner of the dining room between two windows. Paper and ink supplies fit on the lower shelves. There’s plenty of room for other desk supplies on upper shelves. Power strip fits on lower shelf. We can use it as a writing desk by setting the laptop aside. Plenty of room for a mouse pad. My wife and I put it together easily in a couple hours. This works perfectly for two senior citizens who still need a sit down computer desk.

This is a fantastic desk for $110. I live in a single room in my parents’ house, so space is at a premium. For the last 15 years I haven’t had a proper desk in there. This is a hundred times better. I have plenty of room to set up a laptop between a pair of small computer speakers. I also have space for a file holder under the shelves, as well as a desk lamp and a place to open up a textbook or notebook. A tall PC tower fits under the desk on the side opposite the shelves. The 55″ version still gives me plenty of legroom to push a chair under the desk without worrying about running into anything.
I don’t “WFH”, so I can’t say how cluttered the desktop would be with two monitors and a keyboard (no keyboard tray on this desk, obviously), etc. I think it would be a bit tight. Not a problem for me, since that’s what my actual office at work is for. As a general purpose home desk for using my laptop, doing financial paperwork, working on small repair projects or studying, it’s perfect. I do wish the shelves on the end were deeper. 7″ is too shallow for most books and folders. I put my APC surge protector/battery backup power supply on the lowest one, but I don’t know what to do with the others.
The build quality is great for the price. The particleboard pieces are finished nicely, with no chips, sharp edges or peeling veneer. Powder coating on the iron frame is pretty good, with a few rough spots here and there, but nothing too noticeable. It should go without saying, but throw away the Allen key and open-end wrench they give you and use your own. My Allen key came rounded off and useless and my wrench was too small for the acorn nuts. Not worth removing a star, since the throwaway tools that come with furniture are always terrible.
Note that the instructions assume that the desk will be built with the shelves on the left. I chose to put them on the right, but this requires that everything shown in the instructions be mirrored. Nowhere is this stated, so getting the orientation of the pieces correct becomes a little tricky. Just be mindful of where the threaded and unthreaded holes are and you should be fine. The instructions also flip the view of the desk from the front to the back between steps, without indicating that it’s changed. There is definitely room for improvement there.
My only real complaint is that the whole thing wobbles too much for my liking. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart, but even with the corner brace installed and all the bolts tightened up it still shakes a bit when I’m typing. A minor issue, but worth commenting on. If someone stole it from my room tomorrow, I’d buy another one.

Let me tell you, the 47-Inch Computer Desk with Storage Shelves is a game-changer! Assembling it was a breeze, and now, my home office is super organized thanks to its ample space and built-in shelves. This desk is sturdy as can be, and its modern design adds a touch of style to my workspace. If you’re looking for a functional and stylish desk, this one’s a winner. Trust me, it’s transformed my workspace for the better!

It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of dimensions. It’s rather light and a bit wobbly, but it’s sturdy enough and can hold all my things.
A minor complaint is that there’s a short bar you screw into the back of the table to help stabilize it, but because of it, it doesn’t make the shelf truly adjustable (for installing on the left or right side). Sort of hard to explain, but if the shelf is on the left side, the short bar can be screwed into the back right side of the table. If you want the shelf on the right side, the short bar doesn’t have a corresponding hole to screw into on the left side of the table, so you’d just have to flip the table around, which means the short bar ends up at the front left side of the table. The short bar being at the front left side could cut into a bit of your leg space. Not terrible, but not the best design.
