Amazon Customer –
The package arrived with a cut in it. When my daughter opened as a gift, the wooden top was damaged in the same area as the package.

This is a great cheap desk, I’m very happy with my purchase but it wasn’t perfect! My desk came with a banged up leg and a stripped screw hole, so I wasn’t able to put it together when I first got it. However I was able to reach out to customer service and with a few pictures of my damaged parts they were sending me a WHOLE new desk free of charge, and I didn’t even have to return the initial one I bought. After now using the desk for a solid week I can say I am definitely enjoying the desk, but it definitely has its cons. The desk has a very sturdy base and it should support the estimated 220 pounds, but there is a side to side wobble to it which really shows when typing/writing. I currently have a dual monitor arm mount on my desk, and anytime I’m typing my screen has a real subtle shake which for some people might be a deal breaker but I don’t mind it much. In the end you get what you pay for, this desk could probably go for another 50-75 dollars cause in my opinion it exceeds it’s price tag and the customer service was really great. The side to side wobble is what kept this from being 5 stars for me and of course getting a damaged product initially. Just remember what you’re paying for if you’re interested in this desk, a lot of the negative reviews about it were from people expecting $400 quality out of a $120 desk.

Very nice desk once it was finished. Honestly was not too easy to put together. It took a couple of hours. Directions could be made clearer. But it was doable. Very sturdy! Even though drawers are cloth inside, they are pretty durable. Lots of room for storing whatever items you would like by your desk! Pretty wood-look finish on desktop and shelves. Very functional! Been using it for a couple of months and I really like it!

This is a great buy. Desk is easily assembled and sturdy. Has much more storage space than expected.

I took a chance on this one, having no reviews and all, but it is genuinely a good buy. The desk is almost four feet long, so it has room for everything i need for school. I can have my laptop open, notebook open, my waterbottle, my planner, a stack of notebooks and other nicknacks and it still doesn’t feel cramped. The drawers are fabric, which I didn’t know when I bought it, but they are just as solid, only complaint would be that they aren’t white. The drawers are really deeper, so they have lots of storage and the shelves on the bottom can easily hold a monitor. It took my boyfriend about 30ish minutes to build this so not too bad, but be warned, nothing in this is put together, including the drawers. Overall, good product for the price.

Assembly manual easy to follow. No words, just illustrations. Parts matted properly. Screw (mostly allen head) holes in alignment. Quality product.
Carefully orient parts as shown in illustrations or you will need to partially disassemble and rotate or swap around… as I had to. Total time assembly from opening box (less the 15 min part swap), 2 hrs.
Very pleased with appearance, design and for me – functionality. Worth the bucks!

First let me say, this is a good desk, and well worth the investment. At my time of purchasing this desk was $85 USD.
Assembly – As another reviewer stated, step one of the assembly is the largest problem. The metal coating on the pieces that link together, made so much contact that it actually chipped the paint off. Hammering was the only option to get these two parts together. I actually broke my cheap little hammer doing this.
Upon delivery (through Amazon) my package was carried up several stairs cases and delivered properly, but there was a large foot sized hole that had been taped shut. When I opened the package, the packing materials and foam were broken and debris was everywhere, clinging to the desk from static. The desk was also very dirty and needed to be wiped down on every part, metal dust and wood shavings. Though the desk pieces themselves were not “damaged” i did find that the screw in feet were very dirty and worn, like they had been used.
The pictures were taken during the assembly, so much of the dirt is cleaned, and the packaging is not present.
The metal holes of the desk where the screws are inserted into the legs still had the metal punches halfway in several of them. I used the screws to try and bend and snap off the metal pieces. For the harder ones I had to use needle nose pliers. (Pictured)
All in all, I’m very satisfied with the quality of this desk. It is a very solid sturdy and professional product. It was just a bit of a nightmare right out of the box. I have recommended this brand and shown it off to friends, and will likely be buying more CubiCubi products. Its still a premium product at its price point.
Roughly an 8/10 desk 🙂

I just needed a good desk that maybe wasn’t top notch, but also wasn’t incredibly cheap quality. For the price of this desk, this was perfect for what my 17 year old son needed it for. He put it together with no issues and the manual was easy to follow.

First of all the final product is great. Sturdy, looks good, and with the 55″ desk just the right size for my work from home office with 2 monitors.
Here are a couple of notes on the assembly:
1) if you have a power screwdriver with a allen wrench heads it will make the assembly MUCH faster
2) makes sure all of the screw holes are completely punched through. I got to the part where i was screwing the top to the frame and put 5 screws in only to have to disassemble it to punch out the chads on 5 other holes
3) i used 2 C-clamps to press the two frame pieces together at the zig-zag joint. this made assembly easier
4) follow the instructions to keep all of the bolts slightly loose during assembly so that you can wiggle pieces to line up holes and joints
5) it isn’t clear in the instructions but when you put the legs on be sure that the holes for the side braces point down the width of the table. otherwise you will have to take them off and move them around
6) don’t overtighten the frame to top bolts. they only need to be reasonably snug
7) make sure when you assemble the top with the dowel pins that all of the holes for bolts on all 3 panels are on the same side. This was a duh moment for me when i had to disassemble the top from the frame because i had one panel upside down. ideally the product wouldn’t let you do this by having the dowel holes slightly offset, but easy enough to fix
8) assembly took me about an hour even with my mistakes.
