The battery kept going dead in my car for some reason and my other battery charger just up and quit, so I ordered this one not really knowing what I was doing.
I used it three or four different times before I bought a new battery and for being so little, it charged my bad battery up in about an hour.
It’s easy to use… you just plug it in and attach the little clippy things to your battery and push the button on the front that looks like a car and that’s it. It’s easy to use. Easy Peasy.
And the price was right. I was very happy with the price. And it’s not very big… it’s so small I’ve got it sitting right on the shelf next to the television.
It doesn’t even take up any space.
This is probably one of the better purchases I bought in the last 6 months.

I have four of theses units. They work just great. I have a quad, truck, tractor and excavator hooked to the these. Keeps batteries topped off extremely well. Arrived early, packaging was excellent.
Thank You

I was a little skeptical of this inexpensive charger when I took it out of the package since it looks pretty flimsy, but after using it on 5 different auto, utv and motorcycle batteries I found it easy to use and effective. LED readout is untuitive and informative showing operating temp of the charger, charging voltage and current. Using the repair mode (pulsed variable rate charging) it brought a totally dead agm utv battery back to life. My main criticisms are that the AC power and batteries leads are really short and light weight. Nothing really got too hot, but I don’t think I trust this charger yet to leave unattended while in operation for extended periods.

I was expecting this charger to be larger, such as the early ones, so I was skeptical of its ability to charge a car battery efficiently. I decided to give it a try, and I was really pleased with how quickly it charged the battery, and then went into trickle charge mode. The post clamps worked better than my last charger on battery posts that were very difficult to reach. I would recommend this charger to anyone.

I was out of town for about 7 weeks. Didn’t occur to me that my car battery would drain so much. I have a portable battery jumper which helped but it wasn’t enough to charge the battery back to its fullest capacity. I kept needing to recharge it every time….I went to auto zone and they offered to charge it for free but it would require you to take the battery out of the car which would be okay but I didn’t have the tools or experience on how to do that. Out of curiousity, I decided to search on Amazon to see if a car battery charger would be affordable and when I saw this gadget and for the price, I was a little skeptical. However, it had good reviews, plus free returns, so I took a chance. I figured I had nothing to lose and esp since I had no way of going anywhere since my car was completely unreliable. It took a day to arrive and when it did, I charged it for a good 9 hours. I kept waiting for the “FUL” msg to come on but nothing was showing, which was why I kept charging it for that long. I finally started my car and with this gadget attached, that’s when I saw “FUL”. That’s the only drawback about this item because it was supposed to show “FUL” when it is fully charged but it never did. Anyway, I am just so thankful the battery was charged fully and I have been driving the car again with no issue. I still keep the portable jumper in the car just in case but so far, no problem starting the car since I charged it with this thing. For the price, it worked and has saved my car.
The good things about it:
1. it is small but powerful enough
2. easy to use, just clamp the cable clamps (follow instructions cuz you do the neg first then the positive)
3. price is decent, less than $30!
What could be better:
1. the “ful’ msg should have popped up per the manual but it never did. However, when I started my car and with this attached, I can see it said “ful” then.
2. the electrical cord could be longer but maybe that’s why it is compact. Just remember to use an extension cord with it when you plug it in.
Overall, for the price, it is a great buy and I would recommend spending the money for that piece of mind (and for your car). So glad I took a chance and bought this!

So evidently someone in my household ordered this for me and when I opened the box I immediately thought it was some new tech difibulator! I was thinking to myself ummmm I shouldn’t have said anything about my life insurance premium being up to date. All joking aside I was complaining about the battery in the riding lawnmower dying and was prepared to guy buy another battery. The grass was getting long and the push lawn mower got so happy when my son walked by it that it started by itself. He walked outside and looked at the lower 40 and was like nope! In 2 days the charger arrived he jerked the battery charged it and was ready to ride.
The quality of the product didn’t feel cheap but well constructed. Easy to use, self explanatory the one touch button and it does the rest, like set it and forget it. The easy to read display was a must, and charging was fast and impressive.

It does disulfate batteries, which is a real plus.. I bought this in February 2023 and just figured out How the desulating Thing works. Different models of this thing work a little different. This is a six amp and I Also have a 10 amp. When you hit the mode switch repeatedly when you get to the far right of the options you are supposed to have a repair setting. But this six amp model does not say repair at that location like the 10 amp model does. And the light which is supposed to light up when it gets to the repair option barely comes on like the other lights do. I think in theory both chargers are supposed to automatically go into the desulfate mode When they are first connected and have a minute to check the battery out ,if they detect, the battery needs to be desulfated. But I think it is better to not count on that working and to instead click the mode button until you get to the repair mode and then give it a good 24 hours or even more sometimes to bring the battery back to good condition. These chargers, do not tell you the condition of your battery so you have to figure that out on your own. I recently bought a little battery tester (Motopower mpo515a )that you hold in your hand that test the batteries very well and tell you the resistance to charge which should be four or less And something called state of health or SOH as it is abbreviated. SOH is expressed as a percentage of the expected life left in a battery. My research showed that there are two primary means of desulfating and that one is better than the other, but Nexpeak is not telling the Technique, their chargers use. But whatever it is, it seems to work. So I figured that I just saved a bunch of money by bringing back to good health 2 batteries that had been on trickle charge for over a year each. Little by little they got sulfated and then we’re not working well when called upon. They were not able to take a good charge of 12.6 V and up. I think I saw somewhere recently that these chargers are supposed to have two year warranties each, but I’m not certain. But I may try to a replacement for my six amp charger because it does not seem to be working quite right as far as the lights and the writing on the plate has worn off where it says repair me hardly ever using the charger . So I guess that means they need a way of printing on the face of these things so it doesn’t wear off so easily. As I understand, it sulfiting is something that happens to the plates and they let acid battery. Whereas when they do their charge recharge cycling, some particles are generated which flake off and eventually make the chemical process not work very well, even to the point of making the cell go completely dead. The desolating repair process seems to involve pulsing voltage above what would usually be fed to the battery to recharge it.

I learned a lot about battery chargers from researching to make this purchase. There are two types of chargers, a fast boost or jump charger and a slower trickle charger, which are very different from one another. This is the slower trickle charger and it works very well. You connect the charger to the battery then plug the charger into the wall and let it sit for 12 hours if your battery is really low or less if it is not. It works great for my mom’s car because she rarely drives. She hadn’t drove in 4 months and the battery appeared to be dead. The trickle charger says it will not start totally dead batteries. Thankfully the charger read that the car battery was at 17% and it was able to charge even though no lights would turn on or make sounds inside the car. The other type of chargers, the boost/jump charger, requires you to pre-charge the battery in the charger first, plugging it into the wall for a few hours, then you connect the charger to the car battery and push a button to transfer the charge. The car is only connected to the boost/jump charger, not the wall, so you can carry the portable charger with you and can be used anywhere. That is the plus of that type of charger. Just like a normal jump start, it just starts the car, you have to leave it running, burning gas, for 20 minutes to let the car finish charging up the battery the rest of the way, if you turn it off right away, you’ll have to jump start it again. This trickle charger is totally different. The trickle charger does not a have battery in itself and does not hold a charge. It can be used straight out of the box and it must be plugged into the wall and connected to the car battery at the same time, so you need to use it at home. It’s not portable. You don’t have to wait for the car battery to totally die, you can connect the trickle charger and “top” off the car battery as needed. It’s great for cars that aren’t driven all the time to keep the car battery charged up. It sure beats calling AAA and waiting for a jump start. The trickle charger fully charges the car battery for you, so you don’t have to leave the car running and burning up gas but it does take significant time to charge. I hope this explanation of the differences of the types of chargers helps someone.

I love this small, light weight charger! Easy to use and works great! Quick start and rather quick charge.
