I used Cajun’s Choice Blackened Seasoning on grilled Mahi Mahi that I served at my dinner party. Along with the blackened fish I also served a Lime Cilantro Rice dish. Everyone raved about the great flavors put together in this meal!! Thank you Cajun’s Choice for providing a delicious seafood seasoning for all to use and enjoy!!

Being from the South, especially Texas and part Louisiana, I love Cajun cooking. Decided to try Cajun Choice because it seemed to be closest to Cajun seasoning. Used it today on my fish and finally found a product that gave me the flavor I wanted. This product is much better than what I paid more money for at the grocery store.

While the flavor is good, be aware that these are small containers. They’re about the size of cardboard salt and pepper shakers. Had expected larger containers. Will probably look for a better value next time

I can’t even begin to tell you how long I have looked for a Cajun Seasoning that tastes like what I had in a 5 star restaurant years ago. I’ve purchased one or two small bottles every now and then at grocery stores, just to try them, and be disappointed and threw them away. I have no idea how much money I’ve thrown away in my search over the years. This one is perfect! Looks and tastes just like I remember. I’m stubborn, and picky, and so happy I finally found the perfect one! Now I will buy the large bottle!

The packaging is not hip or fancy, but don’t just this book by the cover, the product itself is fantastic! This spice mix hits the sweet spot perfectly, not too bland but not too spicy, a fantastic blend of flavors that is extremely versatile and has become a go-to fixture on our spice rack.
I’ve tried dozens of brands, including name brands, celebrity brands, and hipster brands, and even experimented with creating my own blend. This is the one that I kept coming back to, and always gets the seal of approval from friends and family when we make Cajun cuisine.
Consider it highly recommended.

We’ve been using this spice for years (is it possible, 20+?). When Safeway stopped carrying CC, we had to find another source. Yeah for amazon.
What I especially love about this spice is the fact that salt is way down on the list of ingredients versus other Cajun spices that rely on it, which in my mind makes other Cajun spices useless. You end up with dishes that taste more salty than Cajun. The makers of CC leaves it to me add salt in the amount I want. Note: the first ingredients are red, white and black peppers. Other ingredients include onion, garlic & paprika.
Ideas:
-Take a nice piece of salmon and cover well (heavy), salt to your preference and grill. Yum!
-This is great on steaks and any cut of meat, though for delicate fish I tend to keep it simple (salt, maybe).
-I put in gazpacho, chili, marinades and other dishes where I want heat
-I add to all kinds of egg dishes (a scramble with spinach, parmesan, and CC).
-There’s not a vegetable that doesn’t like this spice either- try a scramble with kale, sliced turkey sausage, a tiny amount of ketchup, Sriracha & CC, or grilled (roasted) asparagus covered with a little olive oil, CC, salt & mixed Italian herb leaves (I usually mix in a bag before grilling, and often add broccoli, and red, yellow and orange bell peppers.
-Starch- cut up red potatoes, mix with parmesan & CC (microwave and stir (quick dinner with steak)). Or try sweet potatoes with CC.
-When we go car camping or extended vacations this is one spice that goes with us.
The list goes on. Our friends joke about how much we use/rely on this spice, but why mess with perfection when grilling?

I absolutely love this seasoning!!!! It has a kick to it but not over powering. It’s great on walleye, shrimp and steak. (That’s what I use it on) a little goes a long way! This seasoning gives you the most bang for your buck!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
