Excellant on roasted veggies & in soups, stews, etc. Yes…it has msg in it but…sorry (not sorry)…I don’t buy into ANY of the hype surrounding msg…I LOVE this product and HIGHLY endorse it…it’s a staple in my pantry…!

I love Badia products but I had never tried the Everything Seasoning until my friend told me how good it is so I had to try it and I was not disappointed. Let me say first I got my order in 3 days and it was packed well. The seasoning is a savory blend of herbs that works well with almost anything the price was good for the volume of the bottle. There is one con the reason it tastes so good is that it has MSG so if you have a problem with MSG this seasoning might not be good for you other than that give it a try.

I love this seasoning so much! I put it on everything. Meats, vegetables, sandwiches, burgers. It’s my absolute favorite.

Have used and enjoyed this for years. I add this to vegetables and salads to complement dressings. Family low in salt and tasty flavor. Thank you.

CONS: Be aware this product uses MSG (monosodium glutamate) & some salt in its formulation, also if you have allergies to certain spices & seasonings, this Badia Complete Seasoning might not be for you (check with the manufacturer.
Packaging is sturdy clear but lightweight plastic but the lower corners can get slightly dented up, also no shaker top (this is more of a bulk refill size, either buy the same Badia Complete Seasoning in a smaller sized plastic bottle (3.5 ounce is the smallest bottle, there are also 5.5 ounce/6 ounce, 9 ounce & 12 ounce bottles with shaker tops, keep them, wash them & refill them from this large sized bottle or buy a reusable refillable bottle with a shaker top that has holes ~1/4″ in diameter)
PROS: Most economically priced version of Badia Complete Seasoning per ounce (33 cents per ounce), comes sealed beneath the lid. My latest purchase in this 6 pound size came with a “best by” / expiration date ~5 years from the date of arrival stamped on the top of the lid so kept in a cool, dry, & dark place the seasoning should last at least that long, possibly longer. As of this writing, this 6 pound bottle is eligible for purchase with SNAP EBT funds (no tax) & meets the free shipping threshold which helps to keep its price down.
Best uses: This is a very good multi-flavored savory seasoning with garlic, onion, spices & herbs. It’s a very versatile seasoning, it goes well with Hispanic, Caribbean, Mediterranean, & Asian dishes. It’s quite good on meats & poultry, vegetables, potatoes, soups, salads, sauces & gravies. If you’ve never tried it, the sensible thing to do is to buy a smaller (but more expensive per ounce) shaker bottle to see if you like the flavor blend & also to see if it’s too salty for you or you have any allergies to any of its ingredients.
If you have issues with MSG (monosodium glutamate), you should either completely avoid this seasoning or use it very sparingly (a 6 pound bottle of it doesn’t make sense for those with MSG issues or allergies to any of the ingredients or on a highly sodium restricted diet).
Assuming you don’t have dietary restrictions or health issues, this seasoning in this bulk size is an excellent buy (even with recent supply chain issues & inflation in grocery prices). I’ve used Badia Complete Seasoning for close to 10 years & would buy the next largest bulk size, the 1.75 pound (28 ounce) bottles at larger Wal-Mart or similar big box stores (washing, refilling & reusing my smaller Badia Complete bottles) but to get that sized container meant driving to more distant & less rural cities that actually stock the 1.75 pound size which isn’t always possible for me to do. It’s really wonderful to see this seasoning available in this bulk size for ordering online & easy delivery to my home & I won’t have to worry about running out of it in my home pantry for some time. Also fewer smaller bottles to have to figure out what to do with when they are empty (less trash / recycling, more seasoning).
My only request of Badia is for a no MSG version or even better a no MSG lower sodium version of Complete Seasoning. That would take my review from very good or 4 stars to excellent/near perfect 5 stars.

I am salt restricted, so I use instead of Mrs. Dash. It is just as good, if not better! I use it when cooking most foods. I use it on meats, vegetables, roasted potatoes, in salad dressings, and so much more! It is reasonably priced too.

It’s perfect with a lemon sauce and brilliant as a dry rub on chicken. Also amazing and delicious on any kind of fish except salmon. Perfect on haddock, sole, even swordfish. Oh, and don’t forget shrimp. Oh yum. I think it would go well on scallops, but they are so expensive I have had the chance.
