Started with Gen 1 Airpods, then Gen 3, now Gen 2 Pros – I don’t regret it. It’s the Apple you’ve come to know, its reliable, works, long lasting with some higher-than-average audio. Seemless transition from iPhone to Airpods, tracking and audio beeping for location.
Expensive but if you are an avid music listener with any other Apple gear, the ecosystem is hard to beat and just works. Especially for one that uses headphones on a daily basis.
Noise cancellation has been a bit buggy for me, but I don’t use that all too often so it doesn’t affect me. (When noise stops working and makes sounds to seal pods / bad seal on ear)
Notifies me when I leave an area without my Airpods – usually comes 5-10 minutes later, useful but could come too late at times.

The first time I heard these I wasn’t that impressed with them over the first generation ones I had. Fast forward a year later and my 1st gen pros broke and had to replaced. Buying this was the next logical step as Apple would’ve charged about half of what these cost to fix them so I got these. And BOY was I wrong about these.
Initial impressions are a bit lackluster as the sound quality isn’t THAT much better than the 1st gens but the noise cancellation, battery life, the case, and everything else about them is MUCH better. That alone I think warrants an upgrade in my opinion and had I known they were that much better I would have upgraded much sooner than waiting for my first ones to break.
The bass response is still lacking in my opinion and there still isn’t a way to adjust the eq other than selecting preset ones in the settings app but music quality is a bit better. Notes pop a little more than the first gens and things seem a bit clearer.
Noise cancellation is MILES better than the first generation and the adaptive setting as well as the conversation awareness setting is a very nice feature to have.
The inclusion of USB-C is a fantastic quality of life improvement and the case just feels more rigid than before. Its also much easier to find your case now that they have speakers and better find my support but by far the best part about these is the battery life. They seem to last nearly as long as the older ones but when they’re not in your ear and just sitting on your desk for a while they hold their charge much better than before and they also seem to charge a lot quicker as well.
Overall, knockout product from Apple yet again. It isn’t perfect but its as close to it as it gets and thats why this gets 5 stars.

A little bit more expensive but, VERY MUCH worth every penny. These lasts and the sound, clarity and performance is amazing! Best versatility with any cell phone or Bluetooth device. Easy to use each one of the added controls on the ear buds. Easily to fit into your ear. Very durable through rain, snow, wind, and heat. The noise reduction control is AWESOME. Many additional features you need to learn about as well.
(Depending upon your device you are choosing to use it with entitles exactly the extended extra features) Range away from devices (phone/computer etc; are great) easy to use/trigger buttons.
I’m very impressed and pleased with my Airbuds.. I’d recommend anyone buying them.

I upgraded my son with the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) Wireless Ear Buds with USB-C Charging, and they have exceeded all my expectations. Here’s why he says he loves them: (with my creative momma’s touch, of course:
Sound Quality: The sound quality is phenomenal. The bass is deep and rich, while the mids and highs are crisp and clear. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is impressive, effectively blocking out background noise, making these perfect for everything from commuting to focusing in a noisy environment.
Comfort and Fit: The new design fits comfortably in my ears, and the multiple ear tip sizes ensure a secure fit. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort, which is a big plus for long listening sessions or conference calls.
Convenience: The USB-C charging is a great addition. It charges quickly, and I love that I can use the same charger as my other devices. The battery life is excellent, with up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge and even more with the charging case.
Features: The transparency mode is very handy, allowing me to hear my surroundings without taking the earbuds out. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to play, pause, skip tracks, or answer calls without needing to reach for my phone.
Integration with Apple Ecosystem: As expected, the integration with my other Apple devices is seamless. Switching between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook is effortless, thanks to the H1 chip.
Durability: They feel solid and well-built. I’ve used them during workouts and in light rain without any issues, thanks to their water and sweat resistance.

I understand the rave reviews. The audio quality is outstanding for a Bluetooth device. I’m 65, yet even at very low volume high/mid/ low pitches are sharp and clear.
The active noise cancelling completely muffles sounds as diverse as barking dogs, TVs, a crackling fireplace, and the high-volume cacophony found driving a semi at 80mph. I don’t have to *pretend* I don’t have to pretend I didn’t hear my wife and her honey-do list.
I do find the conversational awareness feature is.. a little slow to recognize I’m talking or somebody’s else is. It’s only a couple seconds, but that’s enough to sometimes miss important data. Still, going into it with that in mind, it’s an outstanding feature.
I’d love to go *squeee*! over the spacial audio. I would, if virtually everybody else weren’t doing the exact same thing. I will simply say I wish I’d bought a SA device when they first came out. It’s scary good. Even after a month or more of using these daily, I still marvel at it.
Phone calls in noisy environments could be better. While I can hear the other end just fine even if I’m standing next to a loud generator, the microphone control/noise cancelling makes it difficult for the person on the other end to understand me. My Bluetooth headset- with a boom mic- handles this much better. Yes, there’s a huge difference in both the distance from mouth to mic and in the actual direction of the sounds from my mouth. Apple has done a great job, but.. a headset with a boom mic would do you better for phone calls in a noisy environment.
The manual controls on the stem are a nice idea. They probably work well if you have normal sized fingers. My hands and fingers are larger that those of most people. While I can use the stem control, I generally have to be a little careful or I’ll send the wrong signal. It’s not a big issue and I’ve acclimated to it, and it’s to be expected with the shorter stems on the Pro version. The system works well, just be prepared for a learning curve, even if it is shallow.
For me and my use- mostly listening to audio with maybe two calls a day- a full charge lasts pretty close to five hours. Nothing I’ve done really makes much of a difference.
I’ve found that charging the Air Pods from zero to 100% takes about half an hour in the supplied MagSafe charger. The charger itself takes about the same amount of time to go from 40% to 90+%. Less than an hour to reach 100%. Note, I don’t have a wireless charger. I plug it into a 2W wall brick. The case would probably charge a lot faster on a good wireless pad.
One thing I don’t like, though I can’t really offer a better solution is that I can’t tell the charge status of the case without the air pod inside. Yes, there’s an amber/green momentary LED on the case, but is too broad an indicator for my taste. To get an accurate figure, you have to put the air pods in the charging case and open it near your phone or iPad. That’s … clunky. I know other systems would use more power, but call me obsessive. Maybe just let me ask Siri?
Air Pods Pro (v2) comes with four sets of silicone tips that are easily changed to fit your ear canal. They are very comfortable and are part of the noise cancellation system. For all that Apple should be lauded for not trying to go with a “one size fits all “ solution, none of the tips actually fit me all that well. While all sizes did their job noise cancelling, after an hour or so they need to be reseated. On more than one occasion I’ve had an air pod fall out of my ear while I’m simply walking. It’s much worse if I’m eating or talking. I honestly don’t know how they could do a better job given the job requirements, just be aware these don’t fit deep in the ear canal like hearing aids.
Finally, the color. At first I was mildly unhappy that white is the only color choice. After having the fall out of my ear more than once and simply dropping them because I’m clumsy, I’ve come to realize the color is a brilliant choice. Basically, they’re easy to find no matter where I’ve dropped them. I didn’t even have much of a problem when I dropped one in a foot of snow.
All in all, the Apple Air Pods Pro (v2) aren’t perfect. There’s definitely room for improvement. But not much. They’re quite a bit more expensive than I really wanted to pay. But, having done so, I’m glad I did. There are better similar audio systems out there, but they aren’t – in my opinion- worth the price difference. I almost gave them 5 stars, but.. the charge status system just annoys me. It’s just too clunky.
In spite of that, I’m very glad I opted to spend the bucks to get Apple Air Pods Pro.

Air Pods Pros 2nd generation.
The item arrived as describe with no issues, packaged as you would expect an apple product to be. I found no issues with any item upon inspection and nothing was missing.
First, I already had a set of GEN 1 so I kinda knew what to expect from the GEN 2. I believe the best addition to the GEN 2 is the adaptive feature. It works very well at recognizing your environment and adapting from canceling surrounding loud noise to lower volume when your are speaking with someone.
Quality of the material used for the ear bud is on par with any Apple product. Functionality was flaws with no issues so far. Fit is easily adjusted with the 4 sizes of ear tips. They are easily paired with your device by opening the case, holding close the device and following the instruction that pop up on the device.
I have used them in a variety of situations, such as running, hiking, yard work, lounging and so forth. I have been very happy with the AirPods functionality, features, sound quality and battery life. I typically charge every couple of days at night.
Overall, I highly recommend. They performed better than I expected and well worth the price.

I think everyone should have a pair of these. They’re amazing at noise canceling. I work in a busy office and need peace and quiet to get work done. I bought these for that purpose and it’s so easy to drown everything out with music and focus. I also ride my bike to work and can listen to music or an audiobook on a ride home.
I do find that the pause and play buttons on the ear buds doesn’t like me much. Sometimes I have to press it multiple times to get it to do what I want. It might just be me pressing it wrong though.
These last me all day, sometimes multiple days. I do pop them in and take them out but just keep them in the case when not in use so they keep charged.
They are sort of easy to lose. They do have a feature where find my iPhone can make them beep and that is a life saver!! They’re easy to find that way and you can track where they are.
They come with multiple sizes to fit your ear size. My cat unfortunately ate through the small size so I’m working with the normal size but they still stay in.
They do make my ears a little sore after a full days of use. I just take them out for a bit and let my ears rest before using them again. (But remember I use these literally ALL day).
Great product 10/10 recommend

I’ve been using the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) and they’ve been a great addition to my daily routine.
Pros:
Excellent Sound: The audio quality is top-notch, and the noise cancelling is pretty decent (not the best out there).
Transparency Mode: This feature is handy when I need to be aware of my surroundings – especially when the wife is trying to talk to me.
Adaptive Audio: The personalized spatial audio makes for a great listening experience.
Seamless Integration: They integrate perfectly with my Apple ecosystem at home. Every time I switch to another Apple device, the AirPods switch with it effortlessly.
Cons:
Ear Piece Issue: If the rubber ear piece isn’t on properly, it can come off and get stuck in your ear canal. While this is mostly user error, it’s still something to watch out for.
Overall, the AirPods Pro offer great sound quality and convenience. Just make sure to double-check the ear pieces before using them.

I have the regular and now the Pro AirPods. The Pros are a lot nicer to use and sound better. They are a little less comfortable for longer-term wear than the regular AirPods. I am not sure about sound reduction as it’s not always obvious what they are cutting out. The adaptive feature makes it even less obvious as it lets in sounds it thinks you ought to hear. That said, the function is pretty seamless.
Example, my regular AirPods are almost useless on an airplane. These cut out enough sound to give me comfortable listening. Oddly, but wonderfully, it seems like once on I can hear conversations on the plane that are hard to hear when I take them off. Again, they seem to cut out the airplane noise and let in the voice. Another one. When I wear them on the street to listen to spoken voice, it seems like the street noise goes down but I can hear cars approaching better. Like it’s cutting out the distraction and giving me better environment sound. Add to that not having to have the volume up as much due to less background and it feels like I’m doing better than my traditional AirPods with both hearing things around me. Conversely, wearing them with music playing while on the street is too immersive. I feel too cut off and can’t hear much of anything around me.

I am a rare duck in the tech space as I really don’t have a preference between Android and iOS. I have traditionally carried an Android phone and used Apple tablets and laptops. I just honestly find Samsung’s innovation in hardware more intriguing. That said, I recently bought a new iPhone 15 Pro for a second phone to leave in my house and saw these new Airpods on sale, so I scooped them. The move to USBC convinced me I need to try both. I have used darn near every credible earbud that has come to market in the last four years. Sony, Bose, B&W, Anker, Apple, Beats, Sennheiser, and many others. I have been chasing the perfect set. I think I found them here or, at the very least, found the closest thing there is to perfection. Here are my thoughts on the new Airpods Pro2:
Sound: This is the one area that they don’t win hands down, but they sound great. Many of my buds feature larger more well tuned drivers. Some even have dual drivers. Many have the option to upscale to more lossless sound by using AptX. None of that is here, but what Apple has done with sound is commendable. There is good separation between the highs, mids, and lows. Unlike previous Airpods, these things bring a very solid low end that can rumble a bit. I am not an audiophile, but these sound really good. I still think that the new Sony buds and Sennheiser buds are better but it isn’t a landslide. Apple has nailed it with active noise cancelling here as well. While the Bose Quiet Comfort buds are still the GOAT for me, these are at least as good as the runner up from Sony. These block out all but the most sudden noises. Really good all around.
Call quality: These are easily the best there is for calls. It really isn’t close. They do an unbelievable job of masking background noise so folks on the other end can hear you. I was on a call with a friend who was using them as well and his son was in the background gaming. He was yelling at the game and, occasionally when he spoke, I could pick up on it a bit, but only when he spoke. The processing here is just so good.
Form Factor: I hate stem style buds generally, but these are solid. They are light and have real balance in the ear. I think because the Pro’s have silicone tips they just work better for me. The squeeze functionality makes these so accurate to use when compared to others that rely on tapping and the swipe volume control is really outstanding. For my ears, and this is subjective for sure, these are all day comfortable. You get a solid IP54 water and dust resistance, so these will hold up well in the gym.
Battery Life: These are average in this space when compared with their peers. I am getting about five hours on bud. You get another three to four charges from the case. Many others are better here, but I find battery life to be perfectly acceptable for everyday use.
Intangibles: There are almost too many things to mention here. First, the case is, as always, the best in the business. It is tiny, solid, packs a great battery, and has the most satisfying magnetic click when closing. I love the spatial audio. It is gimmicky but really fun when it is executed properly during a show or movie. The speech detection is amazing. As is the easy pairing and use on the iPhone. Find my buds is the BOMB. There is so much more that I will update later. These are very well thought out.
Conclusion: For me, Apple has crushed it here. Having FINALLY moved to USBC (even if it took the EU to force them) makes all Apple things so much better. These buds might not be the best at much, but they are very good at everything. I can honestly say that these are the best buds on the market. Will I use others for different occasions? Yes, but I doubt that as long as I have an iPhone, I will use many of them often. Buy these now with complete and total confidence. Wow Apple, just wow! Well done!
***Update*** So, I am three weeks in with these and I have a couple of other thoughts I should add. First, the thing that jumps off the page to me is the speaker built into the case. I have owned dozens of buds and this is a first to me. It is awesome. The case chimes when the buds are properly returned to the case. You get a low battery notification and it is also used to “find my AirPods.” It is simply brilliant and an example of how thoughtful some of Apple’s designs are. The case is simply next level and that means more than most people think since you interact with it regularly. The other thing that stands out is how much customization there is and how intuitive it is to set up in your settings. Sony offers similar customization and, in some ways more, but it takes a lot more work. Like I said, there are better options for a lot of things, but the polish and attention to detail here from Apple make these a clear winner overall. If you are on the fence, don’t be. I will update with anything else but these are easily the best all around buds on the market. Buy with confidence
