START WITH AT LEAST 12-16oz OF WATER NOT THE 8oz recommended on the package. Anything below that was waaaaaaayyyyy too concentrated for my liking.
I liked the Cherry Limeade and Watermelon flavors. These two had the best taste. The watermelon reminds me of watermelon airheads. The cherry was your standard cherry flavored candy too. I did not like the Strawberry Lemonade. It didn’t taste very much like strawberry but there isn’t anything I can think of that is close to what I tasted.
I wasn’t a big fan of the murky color of the mixes. All three flavors were the same murky color.

Oh, I like this. I am rather picky and discerning when it comes to electrolyte replacer drinks. There are kinds that I call “low key” hydration drinks, which just provides a little something to help with basic daily hydration needs. Usually pleasant tasting. Not much in it, but enough to maybe help someone drink water. Nothing that I would bank on for super sweaty days, labor intensive activities, or mountain hiking. Yet, the ones that work for that tend to truly have what is needed, which usually means is pretty salty tasting. Not all that pleasant, but works. ONCE in awhile I find a drink that is a fair option for both types of hydration needs, and still manages to taste pleasant.
THIS is pretty good all around. It has a reasonable amount of sodium with potassium balance.Yet not salty tasting. It does NOT have real source of glucose/sugar which is unfortunate, but at least the sweetener (stevia, monk fruit) used isnt overly sweet tasting. This would fall closer into true electrolyte replacer if it had actual sugar/carb/glucose source.
However, it has everything else including some mushroom powder (Lions Mane). I use/take/eat mushrooms daily for many many years. Not sure what impact it has, it isnt always an obvious effect. Depends on where you are starting with your health. Anway, this product piqued my interest to have one of my favorite mushroom supplements to be included in this. It isnt the only thing i use, I just like the bonus content of it being in it. I wouldn necessarily get it because it is in this.
The flavor is pleasant and refreshing. I tend to use more water than what is called for, so that impacts perception of taste. I like a more watered down taste. I like it with ice. I love the flavors included in this as it has a summery vibe.
I dont rate on price. Costs more than I prefer for this level of hydration packets.
Unlike most hydration drinks, I dont “feel like” drinking them. But this I WANT to drink, I may try it with club soda today.
I am going with 5 stars. So far, very good. As I continue to work through the bag, if need be, I will come back to update–and down rate. I truly think this is worth the try.

I have taken Lion’s Mane in the past, but not in a drink mix form, so I wanted to try this product.
Each pouch from Fungies contains 24 stick packs in three different flavors. You mix the pack in water. It dissolves easily and tastes yummy.
The formulation is fairly robust. It contains Vitamin C , a number of B Vitamins, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc and the Hydration and Focus Blend containing Electrolytes and Lion’s Mame to mention a few. What I want to highlight is that the amount of each of the ingredients is clearly spelled out on the Supplement Facts panel, including the blend portion. That is a plus to me. In addition, the product is sugar free and the flavors are natural.
According to the manufacturer, the formulation helps support hydration, brain health and focus.
Overall o think this is a quality product based on the ingredients used and the drink mix form. With that and the price point in mind I also think the product is an ok value.

Taste is not great

Silicon dioxide is mainly bad when you breathe it in.. but this is a powder so you’re going to breathe it in… Maybe prepare it with an n95 lol… Seems like a pretty dumb choice

These are definitely tasty; added to water over ice, and it is a refreshing drink. I can’t speak to the health benefits personally; I don’t believe I used them for long though as of yet to really say. But they do taste good, and are certainly not unhealthy. Ingredients remind me a lot of the mushroom coffees that have become popular as of late, so if you are not a coffee fan but wanted to see what the fuss was about, this is a good alternative.
Pricewise, they are not cheap….then again, nothing is anymore.

There’s a lot to like about these mushroom -inspired drink mix packets. No unnecessary additives, no artificial sweeteners or sugars. The calcium citrate is derived from seaweed, pink Himalayan salt is used for the sodium, monk fruit extract is added as a sweetener, and the only chemical sounding additive is silicone dioxide (used for anti caking).
The packets come in 3 flavors – cherry limeade, strawberry lemonade, and watermelon. The taste is good and not overpoweringly sweet. As you can see from the photo, there are no artificial colors. All 3 flavors make a drink that looks like mud puddle water but tastes just fine and is good for you.
LMNT is the gold standard when it comes to electrolyte mixes, and I would put the Fungies’ mixes right up there with them. The addition of lion’s mane mushroom extract (1000mg in every packet) makes these stand out a bit, even over the LMNT drink mixes. They also have 1000mg of L- tyrosine and 150mg of L-theanine. Very good for you.
I know they aren’t cheap, but they are a little lower priced than LMNT. Your body needs electrolytes, and it’s nice to find some that are easy to mix and drink without a lot of added sugar or harmful chemicals. The mushroom blend in these packets does appear to help my mental clarity, and they seem to help me stay calm as well for some reason.
In my opinion, these things are great. However, for my 2 cents they could have done a little better job of marketing and packaging. I mean, come on. The name “Fungies” doesn’t conjure up much excitement. It doesn’t scream “healthy” or “good for you”. And the packaging is pretty bland. No smiling, cartoon character mushrooms or mascots. No wild colorings. Just good stuff that is good for your body. I guess I could get behind it anyway. We need more products like this.

I needed some hydration drink mixes for an upcoming backpacking trip. I saw these and was intrigued. Hydration WITH the benefits of mushrooms?? Surprisingly, these drink mixes taste really good. I barely noticed any difference from other hydration mixes I’ve tried before (I especially like the cherry limeade), and I felt that these worked to help hydrate during/after an intense workout (which is how I test other drink mixes). I will definitely get these again!

I really want to like these because of the all the ingredients, I just cannot get passed the gritty mouth feel.

I’m glad this is sugar free and has electrolytes, but the taste isn’t that great. This is the only lion’s mane mix I’ve tried, so maybe it’s true of all lion’s mane mixes, but I wasn’t a fan of the aftertaste.
