This stuff is beaucoup effective and smells decent, to boot. If it can unalive or put the fear of God into a seasoned gang of north Louisiana fleas and skeeters, it can kill any bugs anywhere. Only reason for not giving five stars is the bottle apparently isn’t designed to withstand shipping. There was flea spray all over everything else in the box, and the bottom of the box was so soaked it was soggy and had to be wrapped in plastic (so as not to get flea spray all over everyone else’s packages, presumably) – but the bottle doesn’t appear damaged, and less than a fifth of it leaked out. So I’m guessing it’s a design problem or just a bad run on that batch of bottles. But I’d be willing to bet that delivery truck won’t have fleas, ticks, or mosquitoes in it for the next couple of months.

So far I have really enjoyed using this product. It’s affordable and the fresh scent is definitely a bonus. It’s not only easy to use but also protects your home from those pesky fleas and ticks. The most important feature for me is that it’s safe for pets. And the best part? It’s truly effective against fleas and ticks. I couldn’t ask for more!

Everyone with carpet in their home needs this, even if they don’t have pets – you never know what you are tracking in. A friend of mine has a carpet cleaning business and put me on to this a few years ago. I had moved into an apartment that had carpet bugs/fleas and didn’t know what to do. One good sprinkling of this and they never returned. Now, many years and several homes later I still use this regularly just to be on the safe side. I had a side gig for a few years in college where I helped to clean houses after tenants moved out – used this on the carpets every time (you’d be surprised how many times they don’t replace the carpet!).
Tip #1: Cover your mouth when you apply, the product is super fine and will linger in the air.
Tip #2: Poor the product into a large mixing bowl, mix with a couple drops of peppermint essential oil. You can either funnel it back into the container or scoop it and feather it out on the carpet with a measuring cup. Fleas, ticks, carpet bugs etc all hate peppermint. Yes, your house will smell like toothpaste for a couple days but that added layer of efficacy really helps.
Tip #3: When you vacuum the first time, go quick. Just enough to pick up the product from any concentrated areas. Don’t worry if you leave some behind. Vacuum again the next day, and this time TAKE YOUR TIME. I’ve found that vacuuming everyday for 3 days after treatment and then using a carpet cleaner (rent one if you have to) will yield the best results and make your carpet like new.

SO effective. Protects against SO much more than fleas and ticks. Repurchasing for 6th time. I use this also to prevent ants around my dogs food mat. Make sure not to get in their food bowls though! 🙂
* I have never received a defective spray nozzle, whereas a different brand (main competitor- blue spray bottle) I have never received a spray nozzle that worked properly, it was more expensive, and white liquid. This product is not thick and white, it is a light spray.
*This sprayer has the “twist” cap with off, stream, and wide spray options, which I appreciate. I spray all fabric, bedding, carpet, soft surfaces in my home on a regular basis, and have never had any issue with staining or fabric damage.
Side Notes: to be clear, these are not “cons” to me.
* If you accidentally get it on hard floor, it can be slippery. For example, if you’re spraying an area rug or a kitchen rug that is on a hardwood floor or tile, and some of the spray gets around it on the hard surface, wipe up the excess. It’s a liquid. This is a fabric spray… and I just mean wipe it with the paper towel, so the floor isn’t actually wet. If the floor is dry, it’s not slippery. I feel like this is a “caution, coffee is hot” type of warning. Common sense: wet floor = slippery.
* You are purchasing a product with pesticide in it. That’s why it’s effective. The smell doesn’t linger, but if you’re expecting it to come out smelling like your favorite Febreze, you have unrealistic expectations. It doesn’t smell bad, and the other brand I mentioned earlier in my review is worse on the scent level, in my opinion. If you are looking for an all natural, essential oil kind of deal, you probably won’t be happy with this, but I guarantee it will not be as effective as this either. This product protects up to seven months in the FUTURE. An all natural product is not going to do that.. 🙂
My dogs are on monthly flea and tick treatment so I do not use this as the main flea control in my household. They do however love to roll in the grass and sunbathe. I like to cuddle with them and nothing else they bring inside, lol. This works for that.

Decided to buy the spray so I can spray around where my cats spend time at and maybe I wouldn’t have to worry,powder version where the cats aren’t at.Wasn’t expecting it to be such a big bottle was able to spray rug in bathroom,living room and dining room carpets and decided to finish off bottle in one of the bedrooms.7 months not having to worry about fleas if this continues to work so far seems to be I will buy more of the spray bottles.
I love fresh scent and clean scent products I buy a lot of those so I was excited about the smell.
My only complaint so far: But this one was a little too strong was starting to bother everyone I don’t know if it’s because I sprayed so many areas at once or it was a lot stronger then what people said couldn’t wait for it to start drying and the scent to calm down.
This is my first time trying a spray kind and this brand I couldn’t find my usual flea and tick powder we get rid of the fleas and then we get a year where they come back and annoy everyone.

We recently moved and had a fle infestation from the previous owners. I bought 3 cans of this and it WORKED! Not one fle was left.. but 3 days later I had to use another can and the 3rd a few days after. Now we have a fle infestation again due to the neighbors dogs. So it works amazingly but doent stay affective for long. Would be great to get rid of fleas but not preventing them. Also it smells so much better than I expected.

Great product – no sign of ticks or fleas on our puppy. I would make sure the puppy stays off this yard after sprayed for 24 hours min, and lets it dry (especially since at this age they love grass and to eat everything). My only issue was the nozzle / off/on switch was HARD to change and once i got it on i couldn’t change it to off and i almost broke it trying. thank goodness for my BF to fix this problem but i wasn’t able to on my own. The off on switch could be changed for future and made easier to use IMO.

I’ve been a fan of this product for sure. It’s easy to use, which is a huge plus for me. The fresh scent it leaves behind is incredibly pleasing. What’s even better is its effectiveness against fleas and ticks. I found the PETARMOR rug powder to be quite affordable while doing an impressive job. After a couple uses, I started to notice a significant decrease in fleas. Highly recommend!
