They have a nice scent that gets his attention. They are shaped in a heart that can be broken in 3 pieces or more. (my dog is a little guy) I can put one piece in my hand and the smell is enough to pique his interest and he’s ready to train. I’ve tried others and he doesn’t even raise his head, but he is definitely ready to work for these. It’s not a bad strong smell, just a regular dog food smell.

My dog loves these. So I’ve been using them to train him to sounds. When he’s out on the patio, he doesn’t like coming in unless there’s a treat involved, so I used these to get him to connect a sound I make with the treat. So if I need him to come in, and I’m out of treats, I can use the sound in an emergency.
