A little small but a good size for a shelf. Solidly made but obviously don’t drop them. It’s like an unglazed clay so be careful what you put near them, so as not to mark them up because anything that runs against them will leave a mark.

When I saw this ceramic vase, I had a choice between matte white, or matte black. I loved them both, but I had to make a choice. I ended up choosing the matte white and I couldn’t be happier. It’s looks fragile, but it arrived perfectly well. I also haven’t had any issues with moving it around to different places trying to decide where I wanted to place it permanently. In other words, it’s much sturdier than it looks.
The manufacturer has made an aesthetically pleasing vase that gets compliments every time I show it off, which is often. It’s makes a beautiful statement wherever I place it, and I can’t believe that it’s 9” tall. And for such a gorgeous piece of art, it is very reasonably priced at around $25. Which is a great value considering that the interior has been glazed to allow for water to take care of fresh flowers that you may want to use. All I can say is that I would love to have the matte black version as well! I love them that much.

This black ceramic vase is modern looking and adds a touch of elegance to the mantel. The opening at the top is relatively small (around an inch) as anticipated, and be aware that the stems will go in at the angle of the vase (approx. 45 degrees). The vase sits flat and is well balanced.
One thing I noticed on the vase I received is that the black paint doesn’t come all the way to the bottom of the vase and I see a white line between the vase and the mantel – easily corrected with a sharpie which I will be using.
I really love the look of this vase and the modern touch it adds to my apartment.
