I have owned other Bush Business furniture but needed a smaller computer desk. Although the material is particle board, it is stable when assembled. The instructions are straightforward. I’d recommend not over tightening. I also do not put the cam covers on because invariably, I have the need in the future to disassemble the pieces to move it. The cord organizer is cheap but gets the job done. I like the cord ports in the top and the sides of the desk. My desk came with the top surface damaged in the corner. The styrofoam they use is really low quality. In fact, get out your vacuum cleaner because you’ll need to vacuum up the tiny bits of styrofoam that falls everywhere. I gave the Bush Business customer service line a call and got a replacement top the following week. Top notch. Overall, recommended!

its sturdy, color looks really good put together. Took a minute to put together but not to difficult. I would recommend to others.

I am moving into a new house and needed to provide work space for my computers. I do photo editing, blogging, and run a home weather station with a dedicated PC server. I needed a large, functional work space and wanted to keep the cost down. I had considered the classic DIY butcher block countertop on file cabinets approach. This line of furniture turned out to be less expensive, more attractive, and more suited to the purpose.
The relatively low cost of this line made me skeptical, but the reviews, for the most part, were favorable. I went ahead and purchased this desk and also a Series A 48W Corner Desk . Now that I have it put together, I am very pleased with this purchase.
Instead of the corner desk desk, I now wish I had purchased two these instead. You can see my review of the corner desk for the details and my recommendations. Basically, two of these desks would have provided more usable space at a lower cost.
This desk was very easy for one person to put together. After assembly, it becomes an attractive, sturdy piece of furniture. The slate gray/white spectrum colors are sleek and high tech looking. The cable management is a nice touch eliminating a lot of wires dangling in the back.
The unit arrive undamaged and in good order.
I felt the matching file/drawer cabinets for this line were overpriced. Instead I added a Hirsh Industries 20" Deep Box-Box-File Mobile Pedestal in Charcoal to provide drawer and file space. I like it so much, I plan to purchase one more.
I would definitely recommend this desk for a home office or computer room, but avoid the corner desk.

I’m pleased with the appearance of this. I bought it to go with the large 72" desk and corner desk for use in a small recording studio. It was easy to put together and after putting the other two together, I was able to put it together mostly without even looking at the instructions. The reason I only give it three stars is twofold. While it’s very solid, it’s still just really thick particle board, including the legs. The feet are metal and plastic. The other reason, and this is a big one, no matter who ships it, the shipping companies just aren’t careful with large packages. When this arrived with the corner piece I had purchased with it, the UPS guy looked really frustrated by the time I got my shoes on and went out to help him. He was about my size and I can tell you there’s no way he could have gotten it out of the truck without dropping it, which is probably where the corner piece received it’s large ding right on the corner. I can live with it but all three items had some sort of shipping damage, so unless you purchase this from a brick and mortar store, you’re more than likely to have some damage somewhere. I would recommend paying a bit extra and buy it at a store if you can find it cheap enough. Amazon’s price was lower than everyone else’s and shipping was quick but given the shipping damages to all three items, I should have just paid extra and bought it at a store, so any shipping damage would be my fault. Specifically, this item has two bulges where something smacked the front of it. The corner piece had the veneer chipped clean off the corner and the particle board was slightly crushed. It was fixable with some creative woodwork but I shouldn’t have had to. The large desk has a large wrinkle in the veneer. There is a large digital piano sitting on it so you can’t see it but you get the idea. Big stuff like this almost always gets damaged somewhere along the way.

I needed a desk to fit into a specific spot in my dining room since I am working from home now. I saw this and the width was perfect and the reviews were pretty good so I took the chance. I am very pleased with this. I am fairly tall so I needed good legroom – the depth and height of the desk is perfect. I have plenty of legroom and can get my monitors far enough back for the best viewing distance for me. I have two fullsize monitors and a laptop sitting at an angle on the left. It all fits. Putting it together wasn’t too bad. I needed help a bit on it just because of the weight and size, but everything was straightforward and no defects were found in the holes etc.. Great value and quality.

Like the title says. The grommet on the top of the desk for cable management has a very small hole, but it thankfully pops out to give most of the space along with maintaining looks. The cable management tray feels flimsy, but it does the job well without getting in the way.

The desk is wonderful unlike most in it’s price range it’s top is one piece, thick, and sturdy.
The only con is not on the desk but to packaging of it most is secured in place with thick cardboard and heavy compress styrofoam, but the desk top toe the most important piece and the part most easily damaged has only thin styrofoam protecting it.
I would opt to spend $10-20 more if they added some form of rubber corner guards.
As you can see in the picture my desk has a small corner “drop crack” the box didn’t even look damaged due to living in a high humidity area.
Luckily the damage is minimal and on the underside and if it starts to peel I’ll just infuse it with super glue and a hard laminate.
TLDR: GREAT DESK, NEEDS MORE SHIPPING PROTECTION, BEWARE OF SHIPPING DAMAGE.

I’m very pleased with the 48″ Series A desk I bought. It’s quite sturdy and assembly was very easy. Top, side, and back are all made of a fairly dense particle board. Pieces are attached with the stud/cam lock style of fasteners.
For the price it really feels like a good value and looks nice assembled.
Update 2023-03-24:
I have now purchased a second of these desks to complete a three piece corner set.
Once again, I really appreciate the overall design of the desk…as others have said it is quite sturdy despite the composite wood construction.
One thing has changed since my first purchase is that they have reduce the number of cable cutouts. The one I bought 3 years ago had four cable cutouts, two rectangular ones on the top and two on the legs. The new model has only a single small circular cutout on the top center.

This is a nice desk but a little overpriced. I didn’t pay attention to the pictures before I bought this. I was only looking at the different colors for the top. This has gray sides and back panel. At this price they should have provided the same color panels all the way around. It is extremely heavy. That is good because it makes for a very sturdy desk. Once assembled it is rock solid. The assembly was pretty straight forward. I really don’t like particle board furniture with camlock fasteners but real wood is way too expensive. The underside of the top is predrilled for the universal keyboard which I reviewed separately. I didn’t bother installing the cheap plastic cord channel. Don’t really see the point of this unless you have a bunch of these desks connected together.
It arrives in a box that weighs around 70 lbs. It has the messiest packing I have ever seen with any product. Every panel was covered in styrofoam beads and dust. By the time I was done unboxing this I had to vacuum the floor. The top was in good condition with no damage except an extremely minor indentation along the front edge. The gray side and rear panels were another story. Every one of them had areas where the paint was scratched. Not very noticeable once assembled.
One thing I really liked was the plastic plugs to cover the holes where the camlock fasteners sit. All other furniture I have bought gives you a sheet of stickers to put over the holes. These plugs push into place and are removable and reusable.
All in all a nice desk with a 10 year warranty.
