Easy to put together. Everything aligned properly. Actually surprised it is completely level the metal frame is very sturdy. All holes were properly drilled only needed a Philips Head screwdriver to complete. Took maybe 15-20 min. Looks nice seems you get a lot more than you paid for. Only con is the wood is of course particleboard same as you would get from ikea.

I purchased 2 of these in the past, one for myself and another for a family member. Super easy to assemble, very aesthetically pleasing, doesn’t take up too much space, feels like real wood. 100% would recommend if you’re on the fence!

I needed a small desk to put in my room for teleworking purposes. This one measured perfectly an it is sturdy enough to hold my standing desk (pictured). The packaging was secured and it was not so heavy for me to carry it up a flight of stairs. Assembly was very easy. All of the pieces and hardware were clearly labeled. The instructions were very easy to follow. It took about 30 mins to assemble…maybe less. I see the scratches people have referred to in their reviews, it’s not damage at all, just a manufacturing thing. It doesn’t bother me at all. I am short, so I asked my son to sit at the desk so I could give a review for taller individuals since I read reviews about the desk sitting to short. My son is 6′ tall and he sat at the desk with his feet on the footrest without any issues. We adjusted the chair height to different height levels to see if it would limit leg space while using the footrest, and the only difference we found was with the chair at it’s highest height. He did hit his thigh on the desk (ledge) upon standing, so if you are tall, you may have to position your chair mid to low height or roll back far enough to clear the desk upon standing. I hope this review helps others make an informed purchase.

If simple and cute is all you’re looking for, then here it is!
First, keep in mind the dimensions you want and have when buying this desk! It’s lower and narrower than a typical ‘full-sized’ desk. Not to say this desk is puny, but I will say it caters to a more simplistic and minimalistic space. As someone who recently graduated college and wanted a change of workspace looks, this fit exactly what I was looking for.
I built the desk myself and followed the instructions that came with the package. Keep track of your screws once you lay everything out. Everything is perfectly labeled, so it’s not hard to follow which screws and legs attach to which parts.
The only trouble I had was with the shelves, but it’s nothing too big. The bottom & larger one was a tight fit into the frame but it was exact where even without the screws it would have stayed in place. The top & smaller shelf was where I struggled – it only fit sideways where the holes don’t line up in the frame, so now it slides into place but it stays there and I can live with it.
The texture of the desk isn’t completely smooth, but it’s not rough and unpolished wood either. It’s a nicely finished light colored wood. I have no troubles writing on paper directly on the table either which is great. The frame and top is sturdy but light, so one able-bodied person can easily move this around the room!
Just know your dimensions and you won’t regret buying this desk!

First, I can’t believe how quickly I got this! I am a teacher currently working from home for the rest of the school year. This is the perfect size for what I need, and that is simply a work space for now, probably not a long term home office. Assembly was easy with minimal steps, but I took off 1 star because there is a mistake in the directions. When you attach the top (the last step), the directions state that you need to screw the top into the leg pieces and the bar across the top. There are NO holes in the bar across the top. It doesn’t compromise the structure at all, but it’s not fun when you get to end of assembling anything and think , even for a second, that you need to undo what you just did. Otherwise, I highly recommend this desk for anyone who needs an affordable desk for their home, that looks nice and doesn’t take up tons of space.

Overall, I am very pleased with this desk and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a functional, stylish, and comfortable workspace. It’s the perfect addition to any home or office and a worthwhile investment.
The desk is also very easy to assemble. With clear instructions, it took me less than an hour to set it up on my own. I was impressed by how well-constructed it was, with high-quality materials that ensure it will last a long time.

Bought it for good price due to discount. Assembling was easy and took 30 minutes. Small shelf had big holes than provided screws so screws we’re not fitting. I had to use personal screws. It was not properly balanced & need padding on one leg. Definitely not worth the price listed for.

Dislike:
Some reviewers mentioned the cross-cut marks on the table top surface seemed created by design as claimed by Sauder. For me the marks seems like machinery flaw and looked out of place. A NORMAL wood grain without those marks would look MUCH BETTER!
