I love this desk. It’s the size I want it. It’s perfect for a laptop and second monitor. Enough storage space. Not a wide space to push my chair in, but it works for me. If you don’t want a big desk, I highly recommend this one. It was easy for me to assemble.

Building it was a 3 day process (was lazy and took my time with it.) and it fits in the room well. I would suggest building it directly where you plan to put it however. Cause to much movement after building and it basically falls apart. Specially if you lift up on it like I did.

*Don’t mind the mess in the picture, I need to clean up haha.*

My favorite part about the desk is the amount of space in the drawers.

As for leg room I don’t have a need to push myself all the way in to use the desk, but if I had too, well I don’t think my 6 foot 1 self would have much leg room.

A computer would fit perfectly off to the left bottom side though. An Xbox One would fit perfectly on the bottom right just above the first cabinet. However the PS4 Pro will not fit their and I’m sure future consoles won’t either.

Two monitors will only fit if their is nothing else on top of desk. However if you are like me and place your PS4 on top along with your monitor, than it doesn’t leave much room.

I frequently work on my laptop while watching TV with my husband. I needed a small desk for the living room and this little desk just fit the bill. Now I can multi-task while still enjoying my husband’s company instead of going to another room to work on my desktop computer. There’s just enough storage space to keep what I need handy. There’s plenty of leg space (I’m a fairly large lady) to be comfortable. The only drawback is my utility stool is a bit too wide for the knee space so I’m on the lookout for a smaller stool that will still be comfortable to sit for more than a few minutes.
It was very easy to put together and the picture instructions were easy to follow. The only problem we had was one of the guide holes for the screws holding one of the rounded shelves was slightly misaligned and the screw tip almost broke through the top of the shelf. As there will never be anything heavy placed on that shelf (it is clearly marked in the paperwork for a 5# limit), I’m not too concerned.

You get what you pay for. That alone should tell you all you need. Pros: the desk looks nice, it’s small , which makes it ideal for bedrooms, it’s easy to put together and it brings all the screws you need. Cons: it’s flimsy, unstable, it came with a few scratches here and there and on top of everything the paint comes off fairly easy. I bought it for my ten year old to have in his bedroom, so it’ll due. Time will tell how long it’ll last but I don’t think it’ll pass the year.

Bought this desk for my girlfriend to play my old 3070 rig on. The desk only took about 30 minutes to build. I got mine on a Black Friday sale for less than $40 so I decided to take the risk. The instructions were not as bad as people say. My girlfriend and I did it no problem. I would recommend buying some L-shaped brackets for the desk and installing them on the plastic pillars, as well as the middle section of the desk for extra support. Make sure to buy the 1/2 inch flat head screws for the brackets. When I completed the desk without the L-shaped brackets, it definitely felt wobbly. I installed the L-shaped brackets and it is really sturdy now. The l shape supports run for $10 at your local home-improvement store. It did take some time to install but with a drill and some common sense it was well worth it. The instructions say no more than 20lbs but with my addition, it can definitely hold much more. Very happy with my purchase for all under $50.

This desk is functional but I had to make several modifications to make it better for my kids. First off, I had to mount the computer monitor to the wall because #1 the desk is not sturdy enough for me to feel comfortable that it wouldn’t topple over on my kids and #2 there’s just not enough space. Next, I removed one of the plastic posts that holds up the surface of the desk so I could mount a keyboard tray to the desk. Again, there just isn’t enough surface space for my kids to do their work with a chorded keyboard and mouse sitting on the desk. Next, the leg space is VERY narrow. I cannot even push in a compact, wheeled chair so expect your chair just to sit up against the leg space when not in use, taking up more space in the room. Also, the corners on the drawer case are actual sharp corners. I cannot even tell you how many bruises on heads and knees my kids have come to me with. I’ve even cut my knee on the drawer case corner. We put bumpers on them to help alleviate that. Lastly, the drawers suck. They are made of flimsy material with a piece of cardboard on the bottom. Don’t expect to put anything heavy in them without destroying them. I put pencils and crayons in the top drawer separated with small baskets. The drawer held up ok with the light items in it. The bottom drawer was the keeper of all paperwork in files and of several workbooks. Those drawers were destroyed last school year so I’m now replacing them with sturdier baskets.

Is it a good deal for the price? Sure, but with all of the modifications that I had to do to make it functional for my children, maybe not as economical as buying something sturdier with more functionality to begin with.

Is it good for small spaces? Yes, but again, you can’t push a chair into the leg space (unless you have found a smaller chair) so you need to factor in the space a chair takes if it’s too big to push in. Also, being so compact, there’s very little surface space to work on unless you don’t have a computer monitor, keyboard and mouse getting in the way.

Would I buy this desk again? No, I’d spend a little more money on something sturdier.

    Out of the box:
-Cheap materials. More than one part was chipped, presumably during shipping, but not severely enough to affect function or be really noticeable after assembly.
-Some parts were missing. I was short one wooden dowel and an entire pack of small nails. Luckily, the missing dowel didn’t make much difference and I had my own nails. I would not have wanted to wait several more days with all those small pieces laying in my floor, so as long as I was able to work with what I had, I did not bother requesting a replacement. This means I unfortunately can’t comment on customer service in that regard.

    Assembly:
-Took much longer than predicted by the instruction leaflet, which was a bit unclear in places. Multiple pieces with same name do not get separate mentions in the instructions, for example.
-Got very awkward and difficult at times to hold certain pieces in place while screwing things in. Highly recommended to use a power drill/driver and have a second person around, unless you’re an octopus.

    Size:
-Make sure you read the dimensions before purchasing. This thing is small! There is just enough room for my desk chair to slide underneath it when not in use. I’m not a large person, so I found it to be the perfect size for my needs, but if you need an area wider than that of a typical office chair, or you need to stretch your legs out in front of you, you may find this desk pretty cramped.
-I placed mine in front of the window. It’s not much longer than a single standard window’s width, narrow enough that I can easily reach over it to access the window, and short enough that it sits just beneath the height of the sill. I don’t have to worry about having trouble opening/shutting the window like I might with a taller or deeper desk.

    Storage space:
-The desk may be small, but I find that there is plenty of room in the drawers for whatever I might need.
-The additional shelf space on the side of the desk leaves me with plenty of options.

    Sturdiness:
-Despite the cheapness of materials, it has held up well so far to what I would consider normal use. I can store things in/on it, sit at it to read/write, and lean on it a bit without any signs of wobbling or breakage anywhere. My 13-lb cat jumps on and off it all day long and it doesn’t so much as jiggle or slide out of place.

If you want something small and affordable and don’t mind the hassle of assembly, you could certainly do worse for the money. I would probably recommend checking your local thrift store first, but if you need to buy a desk, this one arrived quickly and will do the job just fine… as long as you have all the right tools.
