Description
GEARWRENCH mechanics tools have all been designed with the professional user in mind to increase productivity, access, and strength. The ratchets, sockets, and wrenches are made from premium alloy steel and feature a full polish chrome finish that resists rust and corrosion. Large, Hard-Stamped markings allow for easy identification and can be easily recognized as SAE (Double line) or metric (knurled line). additionally, the off-corner loading design puts force on the flats of fasteners for improved durability and reduced fastener rounding.

Good value for the money, but almost comes with too many sockets. Sockets don’t skip size however, and the selection of wrenches is awesome. I’ve just found myself wishing it came with a bigger variety of tools rather than 300+ sockets. Quality of tools is amazing as one would expect from gearwrench.

You could get a DeWalt 205 piece socket set for under $200. A good set of ratcheting wrenches for $100 and then get a lot done! Add your own things over time, pliers, etc.
It looks fun to have but I would look at the Husky 1025 over this.

Many parts are missing and could not tell until we opened the boxes. Sockets are held in plastic bags. They got opened during shipping and fell off the box. Very disappointed with the handling and packaging.

I’ve only had the set for a month or so but use them everyday. There durable high quality tools.

Each individual set or strip or whatever is going to cost less. Build your set over time, don’t over pay for generic tools like this.

There are a lot of reviews of people talking about other brands to maybe consider over this, I would be money that they are not professional mechanics, and if you are not you may not need this set, but if you intention is to get a set of tools to last you a lifetime, this is definitely the set to go for, I did not purchase this set, but gearwrench tools will never disappoint you.
