I work in aviation and precision is a necessity. When tuning up my car or motorcycle I’ll usually check my spark plug gap gauges with a calibrated micrometer. I had half dozens of these laying around from various sources and none of them were accurate, so I purchased a couple more from local auto parts stores. This was the only gauge I purchased that was dead on accurate when checked with a calibrated micrometer! If accuracy is important to you, just buy this one. Spark plug gap gauges all look similar, but they are not all the same.

must be very careful if one has Iridium tipped plugs

This works very much like most spark plugs gauges and I liked the low price. It appears to be made of quality material.

Not a lot to say about it. It does the job and is accurate. Took a little power to close up the spark plug but not the fault of the gauge. For the cost you can’t beat it.

Seems good quality but is made out of cast aluminum alloy and is not magnetic…

These are old school simple. Not as precise as feeler gauge shims but close enough and easier to use.
