Yes, made in Korea. Loosy goosey tolerences, but far superior to chineese Cresent, Craftsman, and the rest. Sad that quality of imports is so degraded. American mfg will not make quality tools. Spain is making bulk of “quality” adjustable wrenches. Charging accordingly. Try Japan.

To find out that, out of all the tools I inherited from my father, adjustable wrenches weren’t part of the bunch was a real surprise. This set of four adjustable wrenches has completed my array of tools and they’ve already come in handy.
They feel very well made, well-balanced, they should last for decades, and the price can’t be beat. If you need adjustable wrenches, give these serious consideration.

The bad: Klein advertises a jaw opening of 1.74” on their website. This wrench opens ~1-5/8” which is what I needed for 1” A325 bolt heads. So it will work for my purposes, but not as advertised. Further the packaging shows 1-1/2” capacity. See photos
The good: Other than the false advertising, this is a nice wrench.
It is tight, but not so tight it will lock of with debris. I would say 3/32” of play in the jaws when loose, but locks up like I vise when you tighten it on a nut. The jaw closes well, they seem to be straight and parallel.
The finish on my wrench is a very nice chrome satin free of major defects. The rubber handle o is smooth and thick, although I will be cutting it off and adding some texture to the metal below.
Other comments: If they tweaked the wrench to open to the website spec’s (or performed adequate QC if that’s the issue here) it would be a big improvement (I would be happy if the spec’s were revised to show the 1-5/8” actual opening). Further I would like an option for a black oxide instead of chrome finish.
