I ordered this in #23 Cool Light and it is the perfect shade for my light skin. I tried this in the Fair shades and these were too light on me. It provides beautiful, even coverage. It looks satiny and breathy. It looks great all day and doesn’t melt, even with hot flashes. I love that it is buildable, depending on how much coverage I desire or need. This behaves like a much more expensive product. I’m in my sixties and it is the best I’ve used over the course of my life.

I typically wear full coverage foundation, but wanted something lighter to wear in the summer. This foundation is perfect! It is medium coverage but buildable. I am able to get a pretty full coverage look. It is light weight and feels good on my skin. I love the dewy finish that it leaves. This is a great price for a foundation. Elf never fails me!

feels higher end than just $8! so many colors to choose from, (I’m very fair and got the 20 light cool to have a slight hint of “summer color” and easily blended down my neck) nice coverage-blurred out imperfections and not cakey, stayed on all day without primer or powder. didn’t settle into creases. I’ll be getting this again.

I bought this to replace the discontinued Elf foundation in the glass bottle.
I bought 20C and it is a match for the discontinued Beige color. Elf did a good job color matching me on their website.
My skin is normal/dry. I’m 57 years old and stay out of the sun, so have minimal sun spots and only a few fine lines. However, I have cheek and chin redness due to broken capillaries.
This foundation covers that redness in two layers. It feels like nothing on my skin, doesn’t oxidize and doesn’t look shiny.
On a typical day spent indoors, it will last at least six hours if I powder after applying.
However, it will settle into the fine lines around my chin, so I carefully avoid applying right on them.

This foundation will give you a soft glow and beautiful medium coverage. Blends with your fingertips or a sponge. Lasts all day, even in hot weather. Very lightweight. Does NOT settle into lines – evens out complexion. Can be used over serums and a primer without an issue. Great price – better than the expensive foundations I have purchased. Would highly recommend, no matter what your age.

I had seen a couple instagram reviews on this and had to try it out. I choose Tan Neutral 42 and it was a PERFECT match for my summer complexion. I normally wear Cadiz in Nars RL Foundation as well as the Light reflecting foundation.
After wearing this elf foundation id say this is a great alternative for both dry and oily skin. It does go on thicker than im used to but once my makeup is done I couldn’t believe how beautiful and natural it photographs 😍 It is light weight and buildable coverage almost as a bbcream consistency and leaves a satin glowy (not slick) finish and for the price I couldn’t be happier. Im a FL resident and this is one to stock up on.

This was a reasonably priced new product to try. Since I use so many elf products , I thought I would try this. Wasn’t sure if I was getting a matte or a Dewey foundation and it’s really not either.
I used elf primer underneath and the foundation did go on pretty well although I did have to build it to get a decent amount of coverage. I did all the things that I do with my other foundations and set it with the same powder.
Within two hours, my face felt very greasy, and I already could see separation on the spot of my face that I usually want covered. It happened a couple of times. Don’t know if I am using this product wrong, but I will go back to my elfCamo or other foundations. Maybe I will mix this with some others to get a better result. The color was true to my facial color

Seems to be a high quality foundation. I tend to prefer tinted moisturizers but this is a good foundation for the price. I have purchased much more expensive foundations, but this one seems better. It is not heavy, but I feel it on my skin. The color match is pretty good. It looks smoothing and just a little bit glowy. I would purchase it again.
