This is so functional and affordable. I’ve had this for almost a year now and it’s never fallen off my windshield or acted funky. It’s fully adjustable and very reliable. I just got one for my dad after his one from Costco and a different replacement kept falling off.

This is the recons one of 2nd gen I purchased. It is super stable (I use with the included shim). Bought current gen, to try latest-and-greatest…. It is floppy and shallow, and the spring leaf mounting into CD slot is too flimsy. But this 2nd gen is BOSS! Truly a useful tool. I’m glad it’s still available. Would recommend to anyone looking for a CD slot phone holder!

To fit the holder in my 2013 Audi A4 6 speed manual transmission, I had to flip the mount upsides down and slightly sand down the CD pads to help install the holder further into the CD slot and to move my phone higher up. Being a manual, the shift knob is always close to the holder but it’s enough to be out of the way. The bottom mount stereo 3.5mm plug on my phone will dangle in the way so I also switched to a bluetooth receiver plugged into my aux input.
Only cons so far is that the product is expensive for what you get. I also noticed that if no phone is in the holder and the phone holder is in the open position, it has a rattle to it. The quick fix is to push the middle pad to cause the holder to shut.
I would recommend this product.

I got this for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler because I have no other places to hook up a phone mount. I was so excited when I saw this one because I’d be able to use it in my jeep. for the most part, it’s easy to install, but was a little hard to slip it into the CD slot. It grips my phone perfect and My phone hasn’t fallen out once. It has a slot so I’m able to Keep my phone charging while it’s in the mount. The mount does stay sturdy inside the CD disk, but there is a little bounce to it. Otherwise, it’s perfect and I would definitely recommend for any jeep owners!

this version has no suction cup just a stick on hook and a air vent attachment
haven’t deployed this yet but the air vent looks well designed and well made and may work
better than other versions I’ve seen . Only draw back is it won’t work in my MBenz with circular vents.
but that’s what the stick-on ‘s for!
I love the way it grabs the phone .
There is one serious problem for me: I have Pixel 7 pro in which the up/down volume was lowered
and the iOttie turns the sound off if I’m not careful. At one point i glued some pieces of pencil
to the ‘shelf’ to keep it up and out of the way. And that’s after adjusting the shelf all the way up.

Sticky base prevents any slide. Love the 3 axis movements. Make sure you choose where this is best for you because the sticky base is not easily moved. Price was right $.

This has been my favorite phone holder so far. The ease of use is great and the small magnet for the cord is genius. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the sticky for the base is not good and we had to resort to gorilla tape to properly hold this in place on my dash.

I’ve had this phone holder for over 5 years. I haven’t had any issue with it holding different size phones until I added one of those phone grips. It doesn’t hold it as well. It held my iPhone 15 with the grip on the back- just barely. This thing has stayed on my dash through freezing cold winters and 100+ degree summers. This summer was the first year the heat “melted” the sticky part that holds it onto the base. I was able to clean it up and reconnect it to the base. I was careful to install it on a smooth surface – not the textured part of the dash and followed the directions. My phone has fallen out a few times and it was due to operator error.

Bought a 2nd generation windshield suction phone holder in Jan 2022 and I’ve had it stuck on my windshield and used it every day since. I just bought a new car and I’m re-ordering the same exact thing which is as high praise as I can give to it. (With that being said, I tried to un-stick the original one I bought off of the windshield of my old car and it’s pretty much melted on there, but after 2.5 years of sitting in the sun every day, that’s to be expected, and I’m sure with a few minutes of cleaning I could get it un-stuck and get the residue off.) The mechanism for holding the phone and releasing it from the phone holder works great and super fast to set it in place and to take it back out, which is nice because I always find myself wanting to take it out and put it back on the holder. Very effectively holds its position, but is adjustable too when you need it. I think every few months or so it droops down by like a centimeter and I have to adjust it and move it back up a tiny bit, and it’s really easy to do and then it’s good for a long time again.

This is the 2nd one of these I have purchased. I bought one for myself and really liked it for the year or so I’ve used it so I bought one for my Mom, too. I really like the way it snaps shut around ny phone by my simply putting my phone in the holder… much easier than the kind that you have to ‘squish’ to close. Opening is a cinch, too. My phone has never fallen out! The suction cup adheres to my dash well also- which says alot in the Texas heat.
