Description
Philips Avent Soothie is the pacifier brand distributed in hospitals nationwide, used by doctors & nurses to soothe newborns. Its one piece construction is specially sized and shaped for babies 0-3 months old and adheres to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines. Soothie is designed to calm and soothe without inhibiting normal oral development, like the natural development of teeth and gums. Transparent, tasteless and odorless, the nipple is strong and smooth. It won’t become sticky, discolored or misshapen. Soothie is made of hospital-grade, BPA-free and latex-free silicone for strength, comfort and durability. It is dishwasher safe and can be sterilized in a sterilizer. Soon all of our Soothies will say Philips Avent; but for a while, you may see some products that say “Soothie, Children’s Medical Ventures” and others that say “Philips Avent” in market. Both are real, authentic Philips Avent Soothies. The product meets CPSC safety requirements and the same high quality standards you’ve come to expect from us.

I bought these because my baby loves the green 0-3 month soothies… these are not like the green ones and are not any bigger than the green ones. They actually seem smaller. My baby refused the pink ones they were just very thick and stiff. Which I know has benefits for the baby being older, but she really did not take to them.

These pacifiers are thicker but the exact same size as the green 0-3 months given from the hospital. I handed my 5 month old the new one and his old green ones and he immediately went for this more durable version. They are harder to bend then the other ones, making it more durable and perfect for my teething baby!

Great pacifiers. They have holes in them so you can connect it to a pacifier “keeper” (leash) that you clip to baby’s shirt. They go through the dishwasher over and over without getting cloudy, cracking, or degrading. They are strong and don’t rip or tear when you pull on them. They have a hole on the outside of the nipple allowing adult to help baby position it. They are one piece which means no worries about it coming apart. Be sure to get the right size for your baby.

I bought these pacifiers because I read good things about the brand, and also because I heard it’s important to get “single piece” pacifiers. Basically, some rare instances have occurred where pacifiers that have multiple pieces have broken apart and posed a chocking hazard, therefore single piece ones don’t have that same risk. Anyways, at first (0-2 weeks) my baby would not take these, but all of a sudden she will. Oddly enough she seems to prefer these during the day and another brand at night. I will continue to purchase these. Be aware that the box says they need replaced after 4-weeks of use. Read the instructions!

Every baby is different so def give these a try if you are looking for a good pacifier. Our baby liked these for a couple of weeks as a newborn and then immediately started hating them and found another that he loves more (now 5 months) thy are inexpensive so it doesn’t hurt to try, your baby is going to pick what they like and stick too it. I think if you breastfeed, finding a nipple that is close to yours makes a big difference! im going to give 4 stars because i think the quality is really good and my baby did like when he didn’t know of any other pacifier.

Love these pacifiers. Easy to use, clean, and pretty inexpensive. My little guy took to these right away. We use them for sleeping and in a pinch changing his diaper when he’s hungry. Good quality, would recommend.

We used these with our daughter and hope to use them with our son. I love these because they are one solid piece so they are easy to sanitize there’s no where for water to get stuck. They also last a really long time for us they dont break easily and our daughter would chew on them. My daughter even preferred these as she was older compared to the more durable soothies rated for older babies. Hands down our favorite binky and we tried ALOT.

These pacifiers were great quality and made a lovely gift. My only complaint about them is that I wish they had a ring to hold onto. When you are holding the baby and walking around, it’s hard to have enough hands to carry everything, especially the pacifier that keeps falling out of the baby’s mouth!! They work well and are a good value.

The pacifier brand has been used by my family for years. It’s pretty good and feels easy to clean. Also to get multiple for not that much is a good deal. I only purchased these when baby was teething so wasn’t really used but throughout the years it has helped soothe babies.

I was introduced to these when my baby was in the NICU. These were the pacifiers they had for all babies. Our baby has been home with us for almost 2 months now and he still loves this pacifier—it’s literally his favorite thing. I do however wish it stayed in his mouth easier but that may be all pacifiers…I’m a new mom and wouldn’t know. I have yet to experiment with other pacifier brands. I did recieve a free one in the Amazon Baby Registry Gift Bag, and he didn’t like that one, so I’ll continue to buy these.
