The best coffee you can make from a pod
Love this machine. Works great and makes a great cup of coffee or shots of espresso. Only reason I can’t give it 5 starts is that it is so noisy! I wake up early and this thing is loud enough to wake up my kids when brewing. Just keep that in mind if you plan to use this as the first person to wake up each morning.

Should have bought this instead of Keurig
I have mixed feelings about my Keurig. However, this Nespresso is the best at home coffee I’ve ever had. Wish I would have bought this first. I wouldn’t have still been looking for some good coffee.

Is it worth the money?
So I love the rich bold flavors of this coffee line. I love the look and compact size of this coffee maker. However, it is so loud compared to the keurig mini I had before. Even my husband made a comment about the noise. I love the flavor of this line enough to keep it. I just wish it was much more quiet.

Great machine
Great machine! Great taste! Costly… at/around $2.00 a pod but so much better, and faster than our old grind and brew machine. Great tasing coffee in less than 2 minutes. Can brew two cups, one for wife one for myself, much faster than equal amount in old machine.

I am not sure how longer it would work
We used this for 2 years happily.Recently, on the first day of stopping, I auto-cleaned it and it worked again. On the second of stopping again, I descaled it and it worked again. On the third, it was stopped again and we reset the machine through the app. It worked again today. I am not sure how longer it would work. The coffee flavor is really good so I hope it would not stop again.

Great Coffee but!
Delicious taste simple easy brewing matched up with a milk brother and perfection for taste. Disappointed that Bluetooth doesn not work and lock/brew lever is difficult to operate. Have the older machine just before ” Vertuo Next” at work and much easier to operate. But! Makes a hell of a great cup of coffee whichever brew cup you put in.

Nice packaging and easy setup. Brewed coffee temp lower than expected. nice robust cup of coffee.
Was concerned as this was tagged as frequently returned. Took a chance and am pleasantly surprise. Easy set up. Definitely rinse more than once before brewing first time. There was a faint plastic smell in the water first rinse. None on second, I purchased some Starbucks nespresso pods in my favorite flavor. That was my test. While the temperature of the nespresso coffee is not quite as hot as my Bunn it made a great cup of coffee. This may be a problem if you add creamer as it would definitely lower the temp. Crème was added bonus of the nespresso. I’ve only had it now for under week. But will update my review if anything changes.

Great Tasting Coffee
This is my 2nd Nespresso Vertuo Coffee machine. My first 1 lasted over 6 years. My drink is an iced latte. I have perfected my recipe and prefer my coffee over Starbucks. Pods are a little expensive at $1.10-1.50 per pod, but still way cheaper than a daily Starbucks. Also there are many YouTube videos on how to refill the pods with your own ground coffee. I have made back the money I spent on this coffee maker with 2 months of use. This machine was purchased within an hour of my first machine dying.

Complete disappointment
I was looking forward to getting the Nespresso Vertuo Next. I have had a Keurig for years, and after tasting coffee made in my sisters Nespresso (original) I was ready for the step up.I opened the Amazon packaging, which was the usual pristine Amazon packaging (5* for that) and noticed that the Nespresso box was damaged. After taking pictures, I opened it, to realize that this was quite obviously a customer return, not a new machine. Still, I went ahead and opened it. The box of capsules that came with it was also opened and some capsules bent. I figured I could straighten those easily enough and proceeded to set up the machine. Per the instructions I ran through a cleaning cycle. Good thing, the water that came out was the shade of light coffee – very dirty with particles. I ran another cleaning cycle. still dirty. It took 5 cycles to get more or less clean water.I should have given up at this point, but the next morning I made a cup of coffee, and it was very good.This morning (day 3) I made 2 more cups, also good. Then it stopped working completely. Can’t make coffee (wasted one pod, and these things are not inexpensive (compared to Keurig), can’t run the clean cycle, can’t even run the empty water cycle. So it’s going back.The other thing is that the Nespresso Vertuo Next is LOUD. I have it upstairs in my office. My wife, downstairs, asked me I was doing that was so loud. I was used to being on work calls while making a cup of coffee in my old Keurig. Would not be possible with this model of nespresso.Also, the locking mechanism is different than what I expected. Other models have a touch pop-up lid, this has a manual lock that takes some force to close and lock. In terms of an easy to use coffee maker, this model doesn’t make the cut.Overall, this was a very poor experience. I’m going to try again, with a different model.Overall impressions of the experience, very poor.Overall impression of this model, also poor. Loud (very loud), harder to operate than other Nespresso models. The coffee that I was able to make was good. It didn’t seem as hot as other machines I’ve used, and cooled quickly.I’ll see what a Vertuo Plus is like.

It’s easy to use, fits on kitchen counter in style and makes an amazing coffee that tastes like coffee coffee, not coffee water!The “crema” not cream, it makes on top is so yummy and takes the bitter away. 😋

Very old box but in decent shape?
when the machine arrived, it was in the original box that was in poor condition, as if it had sat in the garage for years. upon removing the machine, however it looked good condition and clean. first time using, it did not work and thought I had to return it, troubleshoot it in the manual and it then worked. just hoping it doesn’t stop working. very deceiving when I bought it because I did not know I was buying a used one, so that was disappointing. However it’s working, it’s clean and decent shape so I kept it.

Easy to use
Easy to use and clean. I’m pretty picky with coffee drinks – I really only like milk-heavy drinks. You can get a nice blond roast expresso for this that is delicious.I do like to pre warm my cup with hot water before making a drink (& I warm the milk) because the machine doesn’t get too hot – just hot enough. Otherwise, I’m happy.

Nespresso Virtuo
This is the simplest to use machine you’ll ever own, and it’s pretty reasonably priced. It’s as easy to use as a Keurig, but makes better coffee. There is no paper like in Keurig’s pods

Great machine!!! Best coffee!
I am so excited about this coffee maker. I have been looking into getting a Nespresso Machine for a while and I was so excited when this one went on sale! It makes amazing tasting coffee and I love that it can make different sizes of coffee. It also love the range of flavors and intensities of the coffee. My only complaint is that the coffee was not hot enough the first time I used it. I learned to move the stand up so the cup is closer to the spout and I ran a cleaning cycle through and now it is perfect!

Obsessed!!!
I’ve wanted one of these for a hot minute and gifted myself one for Christmas! I can say that this machine is used more than once per day, is absolutely amazing, and I drink more coffee at home instead of going out! The Vertuo Next is incredibly user friendly and presses lovely espresso shots without the complicated equipment!!

Pretty disappointed
I don’t know if I am mistaken, but I thought this was an upgraded model of the Vertuo. It seemed like a cheaper quality machine as soon as I unpacked it, but I tried it out anyway. I had the Vertuo for 5 years with no issues. This one is EXTREMELY loud and just closing it and opening it…the quality of the parts is questionable. However, I figured I would get used to it. Well, thankfully it stopped working about a week ago (less than 6 months old) and I replaced it with the Vertuo I had before. I was definitely disappointed with this model.

Awesome espresso maker – when it works
Edit: while this still makes awesome coffee (when it works) the “maintenance” is dizzying. We’ve owned the VertuoNext bit more than half a year, it needs constant cleaning. Need to run cleaning cycle few times a week.Apparently coffee gets stuck into the top part of the coffee maker and it starts making loud rattling sounds. We’ve only used official nespresso pods. The top part doesn’t come off and can’tbe taken a part, it’s impossible to clean. And that’s where tiny coffee drooled dry up and complicate things :)Sounds like a design error to me. Don’t think this unit will last long :-/Also all the errors like cleaning required come AFTER you have closed the top and pierced the capsule. Like what? It’d be better user experience telling me before hand coffee maker is not ready, fix the situation first and then do your brew.Would I buy it again? Or anything from Nespresso? Not sure. Is it just DeLonghi make that’s poor?If I knew for sure there’s a vertuo next pod coffee maker that is reliable and easy to use id switch over right away.– edit endMakes good espresso, nice crema. Coffee is good as well. Quick and solid unit.Only massive downside is PoS connectivity. Has Bluetooth, wifi. Awesome! What a crapshoot.Tried S22 ultra,s21, s9+,s7 tablet, LG nexus. NONE work. NONE. Just won’t connect.Requires nespresso app also. On one of the phones app was stuck in UK Location. Couldn’t even log in to my account (USA based).Daughters iphone connected over BT though. Alas BT is only used to setup wifi. Again..never connected. Tried even wifi tethering from phone. Nope…What’s the point? Well everytime there’s an error,issue, mandatory cleaning etc. Coffee maker would make this info available in the app. Or if there ever is a firmware update.Now errors are numerous blinks you have to decipher separately.That doesn’t diminish the coffee makers corr ability: make coffee. But super annoying for a modern product. / user experience issue.

Broke 30 days after warranty expired
This was a great machine that didn’t take up much space. My parents loved it, which says a lot because they refused to drink anything but regular coffee pot coffee for 70 years. They now have a new enjoyment of their daily coffee and love how fast it is. Unfortunately, the power abruptly stopped working 30 days after the warranty expired. Nespresso did a video help to troubleshoot, which is a great Nespresso perk, but we had to buy a new one. Nespresso gave 35% off the new one. No hassle or anything.

Drainage
I use Nespresso pods, but I also like to recycle them my refilling them myself and using custom foil covers. This is to avoid waste. My last Nespresso machine worked fine for two years this way. This model leaks half the water into the drainage tank when I use recycled pods. Not a great experience. Would not buy again.

Coffee just like coffee shops!
Overall, Love It!! Excellent coffee! I moved from a Nespresso mini to this Vertuo. It’s more quiet than the mini, and much bigger! That’s one objection. The other objection I have is that the Vertuo pods are markedly more costly than the original. But oh the coffees are luscious!

Delicious coffee but there is a downside.
I love every single cup of coffee! Coffee for me has to have a layer of foam. Absolutely delicious!I only drink one cup of coffee a day so l don’t use it constantly. But, after a couple weeks of using it, every time l want to make myself a coffee, the light blinks red. So freaking annoying. As you can assume: it doesn’t want to make coffee when it does that. And it gets worse and worse. The first time the machine started right after the second try. Now l sometimes have to try for 5 MINUTES to get my damn coffee. Troubleshooting says: unplug, wait and plug back in. Well, l have to do that 10 times or more. Open and close the capsule compartment multiple times, what makes me waste a cup. These capsules are not cheap.I am not, not recommending the Verturo but l am not sure if l will buy it again when this one breaks. It seems to be a common problem as they mention it in their standard troubleshooting. I don’t always have time in the morning to spend 5 minutes to try to get a coffee. And it is frustrating. One day l will smack it l think.

Love it BUT…
I love this so much better than coffee but it doesn’t seem to be really hot? I have to microwave it immediately to get it to a good temperature. ESPECIALLY if you add any cream or milk, it’s instantly cold. And the mechanism to close the top and brew is not very user friendly. It’s fine for me but I imagine an older person attempting to shut and seal it and I think it would be difficult for them.

Not as many features as my older model
This machine brews just fine but the container for the empty pods doesn’t come off, so you have to reach in and grab them one by one and it is difficult to do. I wish I had stuck with the larger machine.

4 months stopped working
We loved our first Nespresso machine. Lasted a few years. This most recent is not holding up. It just stopped working. Red light was on. Tried to descale but no orange light available.Will reach out to manufacturer in hopes they will replace.It makes a great cup off coffee when it worked.

On par for nespresso
I bought this as a gift for my aunt (at her request). The machine is decent quality but nothing stellar. The wifi capability is a useless gimmick that is more for nestle to monitor what your tastes are rather than be helpful.The vertuo line was developed for North America and is only recently being pushed to some other countries. It’s a better alternative to the absolutely horrid and undrinkable keurig system but still no substitute for fresh ground coffee. The traditional nespresso line uses smaller pods and are NOT interchangeable with this system. The original is strictly for espresso based drinks whereas the vertuo line with its giant pods can make larger drinks.Don’t be fooled by that luscious “crema” you see in all the ads. You’ll get that crema, but it’s made artificially by spinning the pods at high speed to introduce air. Usually crema is the result of high quality coffee at the right pressure. Here they’ve found a way to do it simply by spinning the pod so its more foam then crema.One warning for people with arthritis or weakness in the hands: closing and locking the lid is a two-handed operation (one to steady the machine and one to turn the lock). My 70-something aunt had a lot of difficulty closing and locking so it’s something to be aware of for older people or those with limited hand strength.

Short shelf life
This machine worked great until it didn’t work at all. It lasted for about 20 cups of coffee before crapping the bed. Support has to this point been poor to nonexistent. Extremely unhappy customer

We wanted a espresso machine so bad and this is easy and cheap. It tells what kind of pod you have and gives you the perfect pour so you don’t need and crazy buttons it’s amazing. Just buy it you know you want to

Excellent Flavor! I wish it worked with Alexa to automate with my Morning Routine.
I’ve been using Keurig K-Cups for decades. I like being able to easily vary the coffee flavor. My current machine is the first which works with Alexa, so my coffee is ready when I want it.I’ve been tempted by Nespresso for more than a year so I finally broke down. WOW, is this great coffee! I wish the brewer worked with Alexa, but the flavor is so much better than K-Cups.

Tastes like heaven but doesn’t last long
Gets two stars because it makes great coffee. Was lovely until the warranty expired. There is a known issue with the laser reader and machines only last 1.5-2 years (researched others’ complaints after mine broke). They offered me 35% off of one, but retail stores sell it for less even with the discount. Mine lasted 17 months.

High quality cups of coffee.
After experiencing a Nespresso cup of coffee at a friend’s house, we decided it was exactly what we wanted to replace our more expensive latte machine that was nearing the end of it’s life. It makes the most amazing crema on each cup of coffee. We reuse the pods with fresh ground espresso beans and it works great! The perfect machine for fancy coffee. We got an electric milk frother to use with it and for just a fraction of the price of a new latte machine, we love our new set up!

Just okay
I’ve had other Nespresso that I like better this one was just OK I ended up returning it’s kind of hard to press the lid down and turn the lever to get it to lock in if you were old or something it would be pretty difficult

Chose NEW, arrived USED
I purchased this machine for my home and loved it so much that I decided to order one for my office, I ordered NEW, and it came USED. Pretty disappointing; I also returned it last week and have still not received my refund so that I can try and re-order again.

Espresso machine
This machine is great and exactly what my husband wanted. If you are either a coffee drinker or like my husband likes to only drink 1-2 sips then this machine is perfect. The coffee comes out silky smooth and great to drink with milk. Highly recommend a frother though for the milk.

If I knew the pods were not easy to get I would have purchased a kurig. Nesspresso pods are expensive and not available in stores.

Pretty much what I expected
So far, so good. The Nespresso was pretty much what I was expecting. Makes a solid cup of espresso, which is all I can really ask for. I appreciate the storage compartment within the unit for the used pods. Gets a bit dirtier than expected. Also, make sure you clean it prior to use. We ran into an issue where we ran it once, it sat for a few weeks, and when we came back, it wasn’t working. Just needed a proper cleaning. Lastly, feel as though it’s a bit more difficult to close than it should be. But, all-in-all, nice machine.

Over 3 years later
I have been using this Nespresso almost daily for the last 3 years and it has been pretty reliable. Any time I have had the error code/light flash, it has always been an easy fix. Make sure to be consistent with cleaning and you should have no issue.
