I’m from Louisiana, and have had many brands of this type of seasoning. Cajun’s Choice is the best I’ve used in m cooking. And I’ve been cooking Cajun/Creole foods for 30+ years.
The 22oz. quantity is sold in a large clear plastic container, not the glass jar that is pictured. However, it doesn’t make any difference.
If you use a lot this kind of seasoning, get the 22oz. size, it’s a great value.
Cajun’s Choice makes a lot of great products, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve purchased from them!

We love this seasoning. Easy, fast and great on chicken, fish, pork, etc. Just melt a stick of butter and stir in this seasoning until it becomes a loose paste. Brush on protein, and sear on a hot pan. Cast iron is best. Always skin side down. when dark, place in a 400 oven until cooked to correct temp. Enjoy!

Love the larger size since I use this seasoning alot! Cannot find it in the local grocery stores anymore. Great for chicken or salmon ceasar salads!

A great product from a great company. We use Cajun’s Choice Creole Seasoning for many cooking recipes and for common table top seasoning. I put it on my pizza! it the secret ingredient in my omelets and guacamole and many other dishes.
Their seasoning combination is simply the best. Other top name brands in the stores simply do not compete and have left me disappointed when I wasn’t able to find Cajun’s Choice. So glad it now available online.
To reply to other’s comments about this being TOO SALTY, the creole seasoning is supposed to be salty. Get the Blackened Seasoning if you are looking for something with a lot less salt content.

This is a really good cajun seasoning. I love blackening spices and this one is pretty darn good. If you like cajun spices this is a good value.

I can hardly cook without this stuff. I’m a home cook but I buy it in these large restaurant sized containers and we go through it quickly. My family puts the hot salt on everything. The blackened seasoning is a miracle. It allows you to cook fish and meat with a minimum of oil in the cast iron pan. The seasoning darkens but doesn’t scorch and the fish comes out perfectly. For a salmon fillet try five minutes on one side three minutes on the other take it out of the pan and it’s done and so good. I never allow myself to run out of this stuff.

I’ve tried a lot of blackened seasonings….this one has good flavor and salt is NOT the main ingredient…..low sodium good flavor…

Perfect blend of Cajun seasonings you can find. We have tried.ist all of them and this is by far the best blend for blackening or adding Cajun fkavi5ti anything you grill. Tastes great on Fish Chicken or beef. Great black and blue burgers. Not heavy in salt like most Cajun seasonings. Purchase the large bottle for great savings over small grocery store size. Go heavy for blackening go light for great Cajun seasoned speciality dishes.

I found out about this spice blend in Dallas a few years back when I persuaded a waitress to tell me what the restaurant was using on the grilled shrimp.
I like this Cajun spice for grilling fish. Recommend, but store it in a dry place and replace it every year or so at least, or it will lose its flavor.
Update 12.26.13 Store large containers of spices in the freezer and they will last much longer
